After the unjust House hearings led by House Democrats in 2023 on January 6th Committee, there is a growing demand for new government investigations into the event that drew so many MAGA suppoters of President Trump to DC that day.
And because the history books are not closed on exactly what happened on that day it was the topic of a recent WarRoom conversation between John Solomon from Just the News and Steve Bannon, when the call for a new J6 committee to address government corruption was made.
Solomon reported on the government’s 2023 attempt to impose false narratives to the American people, stating, “Just like they did with Russia collusion in 2016. Just like they did with under Biden’s laptop in 2020 in 2022 they were trying to impose on the American public a false narrative that they knew would eventually get and sustain it until after an election.”
Bannon, who often talks about the government Church Committee as an example of what should be done, stressed to Solomon details of the structural deficiency of the corrupt 2023 January 6th Committee, noting the absence of a ranking member and minority counsel, which he notes is essential for balanced representation.
“We didn’t have a legitimate 2023 committee because it had no ranking member and no minority council and that is what is needed. This time we need a Democrat minority council,” Bannon told Solomon.
IT’S ABOUT DEMOCRACY-RIGHT?
As Bannon faces looming imprisonment for refusing to testify before the unjust 2023 committee, the urgency for a new investigation intensifies, and in advocating for the principles of the Church Committee and minority council, it is Bannon who seeks to uphold democracy and the rule of law.
Solomon also made the case that a new committee is needed, and reported on Barry Loudermilk’s relentless efforts to uncover evidence of concealment and manipulation, particularly by individuals like Liz Cheney. Solomon highlighted instances where crucial testimonies, such as Cassidy Hutchinson’s, relied on hearsay rather than firsthand accounts. The omission of critical evidence, including testimony from the Secret Service driver contradicting Hutchinson’s claims, raises doubts about the integrity of the previous committee’s proceedings.
“She had no First-hand account that Donald Trump was trying to grab the steering wheel and hijack it and take it to the Capitol,” Solomon said, adding, “They don’t hear from the driver until after the driver knows that Cassidy has testified,” he said drawing the listener’s attention to the double standard in legal ethics.
With the need for a new investigation growing increasingly evident, the historical precedent set by the Church Committee serves as a lesson for structuring a committee that ensures fair representation and transparent proceedings.
In other words- we have been here before.
BACKGROUND: WHY THE TIME IS RIGHT FOR A CHURCH STYLE COMMITTEE
The Church Committee, formally known as the United States Senate Select Committee to Study Governmental Operations with Respect to Intelligence Activities, was established in 1975. Chaired by Senator Frank Church, the committee’s mandate was to investigate abuses by U.S. intelligence agencies, including the CIA, FBI, and NSA. The investigation was prompted by a series of revelations about covert operations and misconduct by these agencies.
Key findings and revelations of the Church Committee included:
Assassination Plots: The committee uncovered CIA attempts to assassinate foreign leaders, including Fidel Castro of Cuba and Patrice Lumumba of the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
Domestic Spying: Extensive domestic surveillance programs by the FBI were revealed, targeting civil rights leaders, political activists, and other groups perceived as subversive.
COINTELPRO: The FBI’s Counter Intelligence Program (COINTELPRO) aimed to disrupt and discredit various domestic political organizations and individuals deemed threats to national security, including infiltrating and surveilling civil rights groups and anti-war activists.
Mind Control Experiments: Unethical and often illegal experiments by the CIA, such as those under the MKUltra program, were exposed. These experiments involved mind control techniques, including the administration of LSD to unsuspecting subjects.
Foreign Influence Operations: The committee investigated covert efforts by the CIA and other agencies to influence political processes and elections in foreign countries.
The Church Committee’s work led to significant reforms in the oversight and regulation of U.S. intelligence agencies. It resulted in the establishment of permanent intelligence oversight committees in both the Senate and the House of Representatives and the passage of legislation like the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) to regulate surveillance activities.
The committee’s revelations also increased public awareness and scrutiny of government intelligence operations and their impact on civil liberties.
THE PUBLIC WILL DECIDE
Looking ahead to the upcoming elections, Bannon expressed confidence in the American public serving as the ultimate jury on November 5th, emphasizing the significance of their verdict in determining the course of action.

Why hasn’t the driver come out publicly and stated that Hutchinson’s testimony was false?!!!! He needs to step up and speak out! I also hope he’s working with the House Republicans to take apart this sham committee.
