JACK POSOBIEC (GUEST): This was one of the craziest things I’ve ever seen in terms of a press conference. I’ve never seen it. They asked people for tips and then they start yelling at people. Don’t send in tips like that. We don’t want those tips. We want other tips. We don’t want this information. They’re not making any sense up there.
They’re not providing any information to people. They say, what did the guy yell? They can’t tell you what the guy yelled. Then they sit there, and the police chief who’s a migrant by the way, drops English and starts speaking Spanish in a press conference is going out to the United States of America and the last time I checked we speak English.
STEVE BANNON (HOST): They did say it’s too early. This person’s Brown University profile is being scrubbed from the site. Then the prosecutor jumped on everybody. Somebody asked a question, is there any evidence here, or anything about this being targeted? Obviously, the Ella Cook situation. He went off on it.
Your thoughts on what’s happened today, in and behind the scenes, Jack? What happened today?
JACK POSOBIEC (GUEST): They’re lying. The prosecutor, who’s had no poker face whatsoever, they all lied and said they don’t know what you’re talking about, about anyone getting names scrubbed. There was an individual whose name has been scrubbed from Brown University’s website.
I had a source from Rhode Island who said the police were aware of this and were looking into him. They hadn’t confirmed anything yet. They were looking into it. The prosecutor was referring to this when he said, oh, you don’t ask questions about this because we know you’re trying to make this a cultural thing. We don’t have proof of that.
So wait a minute. Do you not have information, or do you? Because if you’re trying to say you’re calling people racist, because one of the guys we were looking at, they said this guy might be some kind of Muslim, might be some kind of migrant, and they wanted to know because he matched profile people were looking at and he was a member of one of these groups.
Now, we’re not calling for any kind of extrajudicial responses here. We’re saying people are out there on the internet saying, look, here’s a guy who’s on campus that seemed to match this, that potentially could be a suspect. Have you looked into it? And they’re yelling at them. They’re yelling at him.
STEVE BANNON (HOST): But, Jack, it’s worse than that. Brown University scrubbed that guy’s site. The pepes were all over this today. This stuff is being taken down during the day. Was it not? These are just factual events that happened this afternoon.
JACK POSOBIEC (GUEST): This was a name that came up this morning that I saw across the internet and I said, well, it’s interesting, and I wonder what’s going on there. I wonder if that has any relation to this. Had no idea, right? I certainly hope that he’s being looked into. But then, before the afternoon show came on today, they start erasing every single instance of this individual’s name from the Brown University. Why?
