STEVE BANNON (HOST): Candice Taylor joins us now from Georgia. Candice, you’ve been a frequent guest on the show. You’re running for Congress down in the Savannah area, are you not, ma’am?
KANDISS TAYLOR (GUEST): I am, Steve. I’m running, and I’m just sick about what’s happened in Savannah.
STEVE BANNON (HOST): Tell me about this. You’ve had a beautiful young Christian woman attacked with acid in her face. You’ve got crime out of control. Todd Wood delivered yesterday a letter to Pete Hegseth’s defense and over at the White House, signed by you and many prosecutors down there and other prominent individuals in the community, saying, hey, we don’t need the National Guard in Syria. We need the National Guard down in Savannah. Talk to us about it.
KANDISS TAYLOR (GUEST): Yeah, so we have a DA in Savannah that was paid a million dollars to run by George Soros. She’s a George Soros DA, and we’re seeing the effects of that.
We had a Democrat sheriff that went in last November. We had a Republican sheriff for decades before. And so Savannah is just going downhill. It’s getting bluer and bluer.
I have a county commissioner right now that’s one of my opponents that’s in Savannah saying we’re not interested, more of the same. We’re ready for somebody different.
What happened was a beautiful girl. Her name is Ashley. She was leaving church. She was in Forsyth Park. If you know anything about Savannah, it’s one of the greatest landmarks in our state, really one in the country. I got engaged there. It’s a beautiful fountain. It’s safe. People run there. They have their dogs, their pets, their children.
She’s leaving church and somebody, a black male, threw acid in her face.
They haven’t identified the chemical compound, which is a huge issue. It doesn’t seem like a random attack. If there’s a chemical that they cannot identify, that’s a problem.
They had SWAT come out. Savannah SWAT came out. SWAT hasn’t been involved in situations like this before. You’ve got a Democrat mayor, Democrat sheriff being run down, and then where’s the investigation? They haven’t found the guy.
There are cameras everywhere, all over Chatham County, all over the historic district, which is where this happened. Yet they can’t identify him. They have a picture, but they haven’t even spoken to him yet.
STEVE BANNON (HOST): Kandiss Taylor, where do people go to find out more about your campaign?
KANDISS TAYLOR (GUEST): KandissTaylor.com. We have to fight against this. When we ask questions about Islam and jihadist influence, we get slammed. I had hundreds of thousands of views on my videos this week about the Ashley case, and they don’t want to hear it.
Well, acid was thrown in the face of a woman. We’re going to ask the hard questions. We’re going to hold people accountable, just like Jack said. We have to demand it in this country.
