Three days after a conservative student was gunned down in cold blood inside a Brown University classroom, the public still has no clear description of the shooter, no explanation for campus security failures, and no accountability from one of the wealthiest universities in America.

WREN: It Is Now Three Days Later, And We Still Don’t Have a Basic Description of the Shooter. How Did He Waltz into an Elite $100K-Tuition School? No Key Fob Swipe? No Building Cameras? Either They’re Withholding Footage, Or Brown Failed
STEVE BANNON (HOST): Caroline Wren, this situation. I know Poso had a prerecorded he was working on. He is so upset about this. He said, hey, I have got to jump on here at the start with Caroline. This targeting of this heroic, beautiful young conservative that was gunned down up at Brown, I do not understand it.
One of the folks put up one of these satirical tweets. I think we have got it. You have got the Mars landing in high definition from six zillion light years away versus Sasquatch. They have got 800 cameras and facial recognition, but Sasquatch from 500 yards away is just a blob walking down the street in a jacket and a mask.
Is enough attention being paid to Brown University, the most left wing of all the Ivies, and to this young heroic conservative that was murdered in cold blood, ma’am.
Murdered in cold blood, ma’am.
CAROLINE WREN (GUEST): Not enough attention is being paid attention to this. It’s three days later and we still don’t know the height, weight, basic description even of the Brown University shooter. He walked into a lecture hall with 60 students and opened fire.
Now, I went to college 20 years ago, but when I went to college, we’d have a student ID just to access a building. Brown University is one of the most expensive elite universities in the country. So how did this guy just waltz into a lecture hall, into any building on campus, and then into a classroom and open fire?
Did he have a student ID? Did he shoot a student on his way into the room and use their key? How do we not even have information like that being put out?
All they’ve put out is a video that appears to be taken from someone’s Ring camera at their home, showing him out on a street. There is no video or pictures of this man actually on the campus of the university. So either there is information, which makes no sense, that they are not putting out to the public and letting people look at, or you don’t have that information, which means you were not protecting the beautiful students at the university you were in charge of protecting and taking care of that pay $100,000 in tuition. You have an $8 billion endowment, and you don’t have cameras or key fob access into your classrooms?
STEVE BANNON (HOST): Something else. Exams were supposed to start this week. This is a Saturday afternoon, I think around three or four o’clock. This is kind of a makeup, last second economics class. It’s Econ 110, I think, a freshman economics principles class. A teaching assistant is holding a session, basically going over what’s going to be on the exam. You’re going to have to learn it yourself. You’ve got two days to cram because most of you haven’t been to class.
But it’s not registered. They’re having classes. There is no clue who to search for or how to do it. They sent the campus home. Hell, they may have sent the killer home.
We don’t have 100% certainty that there isn’t somebody still on campus. Yet they sent everybody home right away, ma’am.
CAROLINE WREN (GUEST): There is still a very imminent threat on campus unless this was a targeted shooting and if he went in there with the intention of targeting Ella Cook, the 19 year old beautiful girl from Mountain Brook, Alabama, who had the courage to be vice chair of the College Republicans, that matters. The university paper at Brown did a poll a month ago. Out of about 11,000 students, only 0.08% identified as very conservative. That is about 92 students. One of them is now dead.
That is not random. Did he go into that room with the intention of attacking her and then shoot others? It has been three days and we know nothing. This is information that could help find the killer.
Another bizarre thing is the police press conference yesterday. They would not confirm what the shooter yelled before he started shooting. There were around 60 students in the room. Eleven were shot, two are now dead. At least five students have gone on the record saying he yelled "Allahu Akbar.”
That is relevant information. If he yelled that, we should be looking for a Free Palestine terrorist. Reddit had to shut down the Brown University board because Free Palestine students were celebrating Ella Cook’s death.
Why are we playing detective? They need to give out more information and find the animal who did this. The FBI is offering a $50,000 reward. Why are these numbers always so low? We are offering $50 million for information on where Nicolás Maduro is. Breaking news, you can send me the money. He does public rallies where he sings and dances every day.
Why not take that money and put up a real reward to find the savage animal who walked into a university and killed two students and shot nine others? This is sickening. The FBI needs to step in because this is another example of incompetent campus police. Another group of Keystone cops.
STEVE BANNON (HOST): One of the reasons you were furious yesterday is that not enough action is being taken by the FBI. But your fury is also with conservative media. Why are these stories not at the top of the pile?
Now you have a beautiful young Christian woman coming out of church, walking to one of the most historic parks in this country, with cameras all over, and she gets acid thrown in her face. We know in Africa, South Asia, and the Middle East this is a method used to attack women all the time. Why is this not getting more public attention, ma’am?
CAROLINE WREN (GUEST): We’re talking wall to wall about a Hollywood movie director murdered by his drug addicted son. Yes, that is a sad situation. But I want justice for Ella Cook. I want to know more and understand what the hell happened at this university.
Mark Halperin said he heard from the family of Ella Cook, the Christian conservative student who lost her life at Brown, that the family was told she was the shooter’s target. Mark Halperin usually has pretty decent sources.
If that is true, why are they not saying that? I don’t understand it. The university doesn’t even seem to be up in arms about that outrage.
We’re talking about Brown University, which since 2022 has hired 45 new tenured professors, and just three of them are white American men, by the way. This is a university that seems far more focused on DEI policies than tracking down the killer who just shot 11 of their students.
