In their Friday WarRoom conversation, Dave Brat and Mike Howell from the Heritage Foundation delve into Project 2025, a strategic initiative Steve Bannon and his allies promoted on the WarRoom program to reshape American governance through a populist-nationalist agenda.

"Project 2025 is about redefining governance to align with constitutional principles and the will of the American people.” Dave Brat said on Friday’s WarRoom.

The civics lessons and encouragement to participate in grassroots activism and other forms of perk and rights for US citizens greatly mimic organizations on the left- like Indivisible as one example or PolicyLink as another– however, the media is absolutely terrified that Conservatives will uphold the rule of law and participate in civics and celebrates when their opponents do the same.

Understanding the almost banality of Project 2025 – which is hyped up to frighten people, is a grand lesson in how the corporate media use tactics of propaganda ahead of an election.

Supporters of the America First agenda frame Project 2025 as a response to what they perceive as a crisis of leadership and governance in the United States, driven by failures of both major political parties to address core issues such as immigration, trade policy, and national sovereignty.

In his Friday discussion with Brat, Howell characterizes Project 2025 as a bold attempt to fundamentally realign government institutions with constitutional principles and the interests of the American people, as perceived by Bannon and his supporters.

"Bannon sees Project 2025 as a revolutionary movement to reclaim America’s sovereignty and challenge entrenched political elites,” Howell explains.

He notes that Bannon’s vision is rooted in a belief that the current political establishment has failed to uphold these principles, leading to growing disillusionment among the electorate.

Brat echoes these sentiments, emphasizing Project 2025’s goal of enacting sweeping reforms that challenge the status quo and empower ordinary Americans. He points to Bannon’s critique of elitism and globalism within both major parties, arguing that these ideologies have marginalized working-class Americans and undermined national sovereignty.

"Project 2025 is about redefining governance to align with constitutional principles and the will of the American people,” Brat asserts.

Howell offers a critical perspective on the implementation challenges facing Project 2025, noting that its success hinges on mobilizing grassroots support and navigating legal and institutional barriers. He highlights Bannon’s strategic approach to leveraging public discontent and rallying support behind a populist agenda, which Howell views as both a strength and a potential liability. "The success of Project 2025 hinges on navigating legal barriers and mobilizing a broad coalition of supporters,” Howell observes.

Brat underscores Bannon’s role as a captivating figure who has galvanized a significant segment of the American public disillusioned with traditional politics. "Bannon’s leadership in Project 2025 is defined by his critique of elitism and globalism within both major parties,” Brat says.

Throughout their discussion, Brat and Howell convey a sense of confidence regarding Project 2025’s potential to reshape the political landscape leading up to the 2024 elections. They discuss Bannon’s strategy of harnessing discontent over immigration and economic disparity to mobilize voters and challenge incumbent politicians aligned with establishment interests.

"Bannon aims to mobilize grassroots support by addressing issues like immigration and economic fairness,” Brat notes.

Brat and Howell emphasize the projects potential to disrupt traditional political dynamics and redefine the agenda for American governance, while acknowledging the formidable challenges it faces in achieving its goals.
