To the OP, I tend to agree. I have no problem with any persons religious leanings. The constitution was developed to give us 'life liberty and the pursuit of happiness' and that includes the pursuit of religion or not.
To characterize the founding of our nation as Christian, (as the war room seems to want to define it) is a stretch at best. There were Christians and Deists and others. Hell, the Catholic church was a bit of a late comer. But it did happen.
I understand that using the term 'Christian Nationalist will win converts, but we have to be realistic about this.
The War Room's continual evangelism sometimes make me think I'm watching Oral Roberts. Nay Nay. I shut it off. I have no problem with the historical understanding of the founding fathers and their religious tendencies and how those might have had an impact on the minds of the men creating our nation. What I don't want is to be brow beaten into thinking that's how I need to believe if I'm a part of MAGA.
The War Room is the only politically centered program I've ever followed. Don't ruin it by shoving a bunch of religious stuff down our throats. Mr Bannon and Co. are a treasure trove of information. Enlighten us about what is going on in politics, give us the historical significance of the religious context, and leave it at that.
Enough said.
