David Zere Live Outside New York Courtroom: President Trump Takes On Lawfare Head-On
David Zere, reporting from Lower Manhattan for Real America’s Voice, characterized the courtroom proceedings against Donald Trump as emblematic of New York City’s decline, likening the judicial environment to a "third-world Banana Republic.” Zere described Judge Juan Merchan overseeing the case and highlighted felony assaults in the subway system being up 146%. The prosecution accused Trump of damaging the criminal justice system with rhetoric and called for an "unconditional discharge,” arguing imprisonment wouldn’t serve the public interest. Trump, speaking via video from Florida, criticized the case as politically motivated, highlighting broader issues like rising crime rates and urban decay in New York City.
Zere noted the hostile atmosphere, including leftist media mocking Trump during his statements. He criticized the city’s leadership, blaming figures like Alvin Bragg, Letitia James, and Judge Merchan for eroding law and order. Zere highlighted staggering crime statistics, such as murders and rapes rising significantly, along with the city’s deteriorating quality of life. He condemned the diversion of resources to such cases instead of addressing pressing issues. Concluding, Zere called it a "black day” for New York City, reflecting on its descent from greatness due to systemic failures in governance and law enforcement.

The human race,up till now,,has always been almost infinitely variable and unpredictable. That has not kept us from experimenting with ideas intended to create perfect communities, communities where all the things that can go wrong are anticipated and corrected, in other words, we are always trying to create a community governed in such away all the contrary thoughts or contrary instincts are anticipated and deterred, in other words, after 10’s of 1,000’s of years, we are still trying to FIX our human communities and the human race. But this is nonsense. Humans CANNOT BE FIXED. We have learned, however, that if we persuade a majority to subscribe to certain basic principles, we can work out processes to resolve our differences and create a world rooted in liberty, freedom, and pursuit of happiness where we are each equal stakeholders and each receive fair equity in our communities.
The American Constitution come as close as we have ever come to laying out those processes and principles – that should be our guiding light. It allows us to experiment with special needs and circumstances the first principles have to remain primary.
