In a powerful conversation on the WarRoom, Royce White and Dave Brat discussed the vital role of the Judeo-Christian West in shaping American values and the need for unity under the “America First” movement to preserve these ideals. Dave Brat, a former Congressman and Dean of Liberty University’s School of Business, passionately argued that Western civilization, rooted in Judeo-Christian principles, has given America its foundational values and institutions.
Brat emphasized the immense contributions of the Judeo-Christian tradition, stating, “If you go back to the original Church, Confessions in 1500, which predate Enlightenment we gave you the Enlightenment.”
He highlighted that the Church not only laid the groundwork for free-market capitalism but also founded significant educational institutions like Harvard and Yale and pioneered the concept of human rights and civil liberties. According to Brat, the free market and the Judeo-Christian West have been instrumental in promoting freedom, equality, and environmental stewardship, which are unparalleled compared to other systems, particularly command economies like China.
White stressed the urgent need for Christians to actively participate in preserving these values, arguing that they have a unique duty to vote and advocate for Judeo-Christian principles. He criticized the complacency of many Christians who, despite lamenting the “satanic takeover,” fail to engage politically or minister effectively. White stated, “The duty is to push the gospels and the morality of the Judeo-Christian tradition. If you don’t push it and sell it to the American people, you do not have a moral country.”
White said Christians should take a stand, especially regarding critical issues such as religious liberty. He proposed that the Christian community should be visibly and vocally involved in protests and political processes, using their influence to advocate for policies that align with their values. He illustrated the potential impact of Christian involvement, sharing his experience of defeating a well-funded opponent in his Congressional race, attributing his victory to a miracle of faith and divine intervention.
The conversation also touched on the broader cultural and political battle in America, with Brat expressing concern over the rise of Marxist ideologies and their influence on public policy and education. He urged Christians to reclaim their role in shaping the moral and cultural landscape of the nation, warning that failing to do so would result in the erosion of America’s foundational principles.
Brat’s rallying cry was clear: Christians have a profound responsibility to protect and promote the values that have defined Western civilization and, by extension, American society. By uniting under the banner of “America First” and embracing their duty to vote and advocate for servant leaders in politics who embrace the agenda, Christians can ensure that the principles of freedom, justice, and faith continue to guide the nation’s future.
As Brat concluded, “If we say that we’ll win, it’ll be an overwhelming victory.”

Nonsense! There is NO SUCH THING AS “JUDEO-CHRISTIAN”! They are as diametrically opposed as oil and water. This country was founded on Christian values, ethics and moral laws (though a few of the founders were Deists). Judaism had absolutely nothing to do with it until after WWII when they came here as refugees. The Lord will separate the sheep from the goats, and some of them will be saved, but most will face judgment – and so will this country until and unless we return to Jesus Crist and seek repentance and forgiveness. We will not need to embrace Judaism or the Jews. They will be dealt with by the Lord himself. We will have neither lot nor share in that judgment!
Hi Bob. Thanks for reading and for your feedback. I am a Daughter of the American Revolution and numerous of my patriot ancestors, including the guy who was the first Ranger in New York, was Jewish- they came here as slaves from Germany and were in service to the British crown collecting tar for the Royal Navy and settled in German Flats- New York and fought in the battle of Oriskanny. Most of them were killed, one did survive. According to George Washington (https://constitutioncenter.org/the-constitution/historic-document-library/detail/george-washington-letter-to-the-hebrew-congregation-in-newport-rhode-island-1790) embracing Judiasm was important at the founding of this nation- and he complimented their ideals about faith and liberty. Of course Washington was absoluelty a devout Christian, and we know that is a fact from his grave where he chose to have John 11:25 chiseled as a final reminder of his faith. SO- I complelty disagree with you on this topic of our founding not being infleunced by the Jewish faith, but I agree that the Lord will sepereate the sheep from the goats and save the right ones and that we need to return to Jesus. Amen. Please remember that Jesus is Jewish. He never rejected that. So- It is a complex issues for sure- but I think that Bannon and Brat are very accurate with perspectives on this issue. I hope you might expand your passion for Jesus, which I love and honor, and consider some of what I wrote.
Well Ms.Kari, that certainly was very nice and respectful of you to say to that to a person who reflects such a misguided perspective of America’s founders.
hey Rudy! Thanks. I do try to be respectful in the WarRoom house that Steve Bannon built. 🙂 Thanks!
