Monday morning’s opening segments of WarRoom with Steve Bannon were a political Molotov cocktail, exposing the Texas redistricting fiasco and rallying the MAGA faithful to secure the America First agenda. In two explosive conversations—one with Texas State Rep. Brian Harrison and another with GOP strategist Alex DeGrasse—Bannon dissected the ongoing quorum break by Texas Democrats and its implications for the nation’s political future.
The message was clear: the WarRoom posse has transformed an obscure statehouse issue into a national flashpoint, and the fight to preserve Republican control of Congress hinges on what happens next.
Harrison pulled no punches, calling out Texas’s Republican leadership for what he sees as a colossal failure. He recounted how, just days ago, the Texas House had a quorum, redistricting maps were filed, and Democrats were present—yet Speaker Dustin Burrows adjourned after a mere seven minutes, allowing Democrats to bolt to Illinois to collude with Hakeem Jeffries.
"This is an abject failure by so-called Republican leadership,” Harrison fumed, accusing them of handing the ball to the opposition. He warned of "smoke and mirrors” theatrics—motions to strip Democrats of titles or parking spots—that amount to nothing without real action, like arrests to force lawmakers back.

TEXAS REP. BRIAN HARRISON:
Our so-called Republican speaker in Texas adjourned the WHOLE BODY here in the capital so that Democrats could collude with Hakeem Jeffries on redistricting.
If Texas had bold Republicans, this NEVER would have happened.@brianeharrison pic.twitter.com/P2zc3NjF9X

Harrison emphasized that bold leadership, akin to Trump’s, could’ve prevented this crisis. He urged the WarRoom posse to keep the pressure on, noting that their activism has already made this a global story. DeGrasse, a veteran strategist, framed the stakes as existential. He credited WarRoom and its audience for turning redistricting—a wonky issue—into a rallying cry that secured the House majority last cycle.
"The house majority is the entire ball game,” he said, pointing to the razor-thin margins in recent elections. Texas’ five potential seats, part of what Bannon calls the "Big 12” (including Florida, Missouri, and Indiana), could create a firewall against Democratic takeovers.
DeGrasse warned that Democrats, holed up in gerrymandered Illinois, are playing hardball to block this, knowing a few seats could swing Congress. He called for relentless grassroots action to ensure Republicans "push the envelope legally” to lock in these gains before the 2026 midterms.

ALEX DEGRASSE: The House majority is the ENTIRE ballgame.
This cycle IS the game. We have to get through this cycle and hold the line.@Degrasse81 pic.twitter.com/Km4wKBtELA

Bannon tied it all together, crediting the WarRoom posse for forcing the Texas establishment—Governor Abbott, Lt. Gov. Patrick, and AG Paxton—to act.
Harrison rejoined and highlighted Abbott’s 3 p.m. deadline today to vacate Democrats’ seats, a move Paxton appears to back. But Bannon and his guests were skeptical, warning of "Kabuki theater” unless arrests or other hardball tactics follow.
The WarRoom has been pivotal, Bannon argued, in mobilizing patriots to hold leaders accountable and keep the America First agenda alive. From exposing Federal Reserve cover-ups to pushing Judy Shelton for a governorship seat, the show is a command center for the MAGA movement.
Call to Action:
The WarRoom posse must stay vigilant. Flood Governor Abbott (@GregAbbott_TX), AG Paxton (@KenPaxtonTX), and Speaker Burrows (@DustinBurrows) with calls and messages demanding arrests and immediate redistricting action.
