On December 1st, the U.S. House released a report from a two-year investigation that many are calling a game-changer in the ongoing discussion about the origins of COVID-19 and that one WarRoom guest said exposed those who helped hide details of the Chinese Communist Party’s involvement in the deadly worldwide pandemic.
First Financial Fraud
The report from the Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Crisis, led by Rep. James Clyburn, exposes widespread fraud in the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP), facilitated by financial technology companies (fintechs). The investigation targeted firms like Kabbage, Blueacorn, and Womply, and their partner banks, revealing systemic failures to prevent fraud while profiting from taxpayer-funded administration fees.
Chairman Clyburn criticized fintechs for neglecting fraud prevention, stating: "Even as these companies failed in their administration of the program, they nonetheless accrued massive profits.” For example, Blueacorn earned over $1 billion in fees, spending less than 1% on fraud prevention. Its founders reportedly prioritized high-dollar "VIPPP” loans, neglected proper vetting, and allegedly enriched themselves with fraudulent PPP loans.
Similarly, Womply generated $2 billion in profits despite inadequate fraud screening, with its systems described as "put together with duct tape and gum.” Womply’s CEO, previously convicted of insider trading, resisted federal fraud investigations and allegedly misused sensitive borrower data.
The report highlights how fintechs deflected blame, attributing fraud to Trump administration policies. Emails revealed attitudes like "the SBA’s shitty rules created fraud, not [us],” and efforts to evade accountability.
Clyburn called for stronger oversight, urging agencies to investigate and the Department of Justice (DOJ) to act on findings. He emphasized the need for guardrails to ensure future emergency programs operate efficiently, equitably, and with minimal abuse.
Dr. Malone Slams the World Health Organization
Dr. Robert Malone, a well-known critic of mainstream COVID narratives, had a lot to say about this report and appeared on the WarRoom on Monday. He pulled no punches in his analysis, emphasizing key findings that he believes provide undeniable evidence about the virus’s origins and the role of the World Health Organization (WHO). Here’s a breakdown of Dr. Malone’s take on the report.
Malone specifically called for Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, the Director-General of the World Health Organization (WHO), to resign. Malone argued that the WHO’s actions during the COVID-19 pandemic, particularly its withholding of crucial information about the virus’s origin, had undermined its credibility.
He said, “Tedros must resign” and pointed to the House report released on December 1, which Malone said concluded that the WHO had withheld information to protect the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).
Malone emphasized that the WHO’s failure to disclose the truth about the origins of COVID, including the possibility of a laboratory leak from the Wuhan Institute of Virology, was a significant betrayal, and it was no longer acceptable for Tedros to remain in charge.
Malone also indicated that this report provided a “smoking gun” regarding the lab-leak theory, reinforcing his call for accountability at the highest levels of the WHO. He made it clear that, given the WHO’s complicity in downplaying this information, it had lost its legitimacy and should no longer be trusted to handle global health issues.

WarRoom Discussion
On Monday night, Dr. Malone first highlighted what he considered to be the most significant revelation of the report: the assertion that COVID-19 did indeed originate at the Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV).
He stressed, "This is the smoking gun. The House report unequivocally points to the origin of the virus.” This is crucial, according to Malone, because there was widespread debate over whether the virus emerged naturally or from a lab for a long time.
While some dismissed the lab leak theory as a conspiracy, Malone and others have consistently argued that it was a legitimate possibility. Now, the House report confirms what he has been saying all along.
But Malone wasn’t just focused on the virus’s origin. He also aimed the WHO and its handling of the pandemic. "The report also exposes the WHO for withholding critical information,” he said. According to Dr. Malone, the WHO deliberately kept information from the public to protect the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). He added, "This was about protecting the CCP at all costs. And it’s clear now, from the House report, that they were complicit in spreading misinformation.”
The WHO’s actions, Malone argued, were not just a matter of poor judgment but part of a broader agenda to downplay the seriousness of the virus and avoid upsetting China. "We were told for months that everything was fine, that we didn’t need to worry. But this report says otherwise,” he noted. According to Malone, the withheld information greatly impacted the global response to the pandemic. He believes it delayed critical decisions that could have saved lives.
COVID Measures were a Failure
Another key part of the report that Malone emphasized was the failure of various pandemic measures, including the lockdowns, quarantine policies, and vaccines. He said, "The House report is clear on this—these measures were a failure. The vaccines didn’t work the way we were told they would. The lockdowns caused more harm than good.” This echoes his long-standing criticisms of government pandemic response strategies. According to Malone, the report confirms that the U.S. government’s approach was flawed and underscores the need for a major reevaluation of public health policies going forward.
One of the most striking points in Malone’s commentary was his call for accountability. He argued that WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom should resign, stating, "Tedros must go. He’s been complicit in this cover-up, and it’s time for him to step down.” Malone believes that Tedros’s position is no longer tenable, given the revelations in the House report.
Malone also commented on the ongoing debate over the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and its role in the pandemic. He strongly criticized former NIH Director Dr. Anthony Fauci and his involvement in funding research that could have contributed to the pandemic. He mentioned, "The report calls out the NIH for its role in this crisis. It’s time for a serious housecleaning at the NIH, and that starts with cutting its budget and overhauling its leadership.”
Call to Action
Dr. Malone expressed a strong sense of urgency about the need for change. "This report is a wake-up call. We can’t afford to let the same people who failed us during the pandemic stay in charge. It’s time for a new approach, one that puts the American people first,” he said. For Malone, this report is more than just a political document; it’s a pivotal moment in understanding the true origins of COVID-19 and holding those responsible accountable for their actions.
