“The problem with amnesty we should not lose sight of is that amnesties spawn “me too” movement on the ground. … If you give 11 million people or even 700,000 DACA people amnesty, then the next thing you are going to be expected to do is grant amnesty to the next million and the next million and the next million. … It entices people to rush the border…. You’re going to look at a stampede if they try to do this.”
