The America First movement is at a pivotal moment. With President Donald J. Trump in office and the 2026 midterms on the horizon, the GOP must capitalize on redistricting opportunities, push full transparency through congressional investigations, and fight back against Democrat obstruction tactics. The Left is organized, well-funded, and willing to bend rules — if Republicans don’t match their intensity, the America First agenda could be stalled indefinitely.
In a critical episode of WarRoom on Tuesday, Dave Brat and Republican strategist Alex DeGrasse laid out the stakes in stark terms: The GOP is no longer dealing with political opponents, but with a machine willing to flee states, ignore laws, and weaponize narratives to cling to power. Against that backdrop, President Trump’s allies in Congress are moving aggressively — and the time for soft politics is over.

Texas: Ground Zero for the Redistricting War
The immediate flashpoint: Texas. After the GOP introduced a redistricting bill that could eliminate five Democrat-held congressional seats, Texas Democrats fled the state to block quorum. In response, Republican officials issued civil arrest warrants and threatened criminal charges. DeGrasse noted that this aggressive obstructionism isn’t new — Democrats have used gerrymandering for decades — but what’s new is the Republican willingness to fight back.
If Republicans hold the line and flip or secure strategic districts, it could cement America First power in the House through 2026 and beyond. But the Left understands this too — that’s why they’re playing dirty.

Investigations Move Into High Gear
While the redistricting battle wages in statehouses, the federal front is heating up. Brat broke news that House Oversight Chair James Comer has issued subpoenas for major political figures — including Hillary and Bill Clinton, James Comey, Merrick Garland, and others — in connection to the Epstein files. More than a dozen Obama-era officials are now being compelled to testify.
Simultaneously, former Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi has pushed for a DOJ grand jury to investigate former intelligence and administration officials tied to Obama-era scandals. This includes actions potentially linked to illegal surveillance of President Trump and a wide-ranging disinformation operation — what DeGrasse called "a CIA-run domestic psyop.”
The Stakes: Control of the Narrative and the Future
DeGrasse emphasized that the lingering impact of the Russia hoax still poisons the electorate. Many Democrats still believe Trump was a Russian agent — an outright fabrication that was amplified by legacy media and used to undermine his presidency. Exposing that fraud is critical, not just for justice, but for resetting the nation’s political consciousness.
Brat reminded the audience that we are a constitutional republic — not a democracy — and the weaponization of federal agencies against political opposition marks a direct threat to that foundation. "This is not going to fix itself,” Brat warned. "Authoritarianism is a one-way ratchet.”
Action Items for the America First Movement:
Support redistricting efforts in Republican-led states — this is the frontline battle for House control.
Demand transparency and back congressional subpoenas targeting the deep state and Obama-era corruption.
Stay loud and engaged — grassroots momentum is the backbone of the movement.
Expose the media disinformation machine — share truth, reject propaganda, and educate others.
Pressure GOP leadership to fight with equal ferocity — no more compromise with the Uniparty.
Bottomline:
The America First agenda can only succeed if patriots recognize that the war is happening on all fronts — statehouses, courts, Congress, and culture. President Trump has shown he is willing to fight. The subpoenas are dropping. The redistricting is in motion. The Democrats are scared — that’s why they’re running. Now is the time to double down.
"This country will be saved,” Brat affirmed. But only if we act.
