Former Congressman Dave Brat joins Steve Bannon’s WarRoom to discuss the current financial state of the country as the divide between the 1% elite ruling class becomes increasingly evident. Real GDP at its worst in 2008 appeared to be declining at a nearly 7% annual rate. By 2010 the U.S. was experiencing a growth rate at 3% which Brat explains was a result of spending $ 1 trillion to get a 10% turnaround when the entire financial system was in total collapse. The debt repercussions of this were labeled so serious they couldn’t be put into perspective. He draws comparisons to the $2.5 trillion in deficits today without any cautions. When this deficit is accounted for in financial growth it show’s economic shrinkage aligned with recession numbers. Another staggering figure Brat examines is that since the end of 2019 the U.S. Treasury market has increased by 60%.
These factors have all contributed to the divide amongst the top earners in the nation. Brat runs through polling which reveals the 1% have a 69% favorable view on Congress, a 71% favorable view on journalists, and a 76% favorable view on professors.
