In the WarRoom on Friday with host Monica Crowley, Scott Presler, founder of Early Vote Action, laid out a vision for the Trump campaign to win the state of Pennsylvania in the upcoming elections. With his characteristic energy and determination, Presler addressed concerns about voter registration deficits and outlined a path to victory, underscoring the importance of grassroots involvement and proactive voter engagement.
Presler began by confronting the prevailing sense of pessimism, often “doom and gloom,” that some conservative commentators have expressed about the electoral landscape.
"To anybody that is dooming and blooming,” Presler declared, "I’m sure to tell you we can win Pennsylvania.”
His message was clear: despite the challenges and past disadvantages, significant progress is being made, and there’s a viable path to victory if enough people get involved.
The core of Presler’s strategy is his relentless grassroots efforts. He described how his organization, Early Vote Action, has made substantial strides in Pennsylvania by directly engaging with voters across the state.
"We are making big progress in Pennsylvania,” he affirmed, citing the decrease in the Democratic voter registration deficit from over 900,000 in 2016 to 347,000 today.
More remarkably, when inactive voters are excluded from the count, the deficit narrows to 168,000. "We can win Pennsylvania,” Presler insisted, emphasizing that the gap is closing and the state is within reach.
One of Presler’s significant achievements has been the shift in voter registration numbers in key counties. In Bucks County, a traditionally Democratic stronghold, Presler’s efforts have shifted from a Democratic plurality to a Republican one. "Bucks County now has a plurality of registered Republicans,” he proudly noted. This change symbolizes Presler’s broader strategy, which involves meeting people where they are, from gas stations to farmers markets, and directly engaging them in voter registration.
Presler’s hands-on approach has proven effective. He recounted setting up registration tables in local areas, such as a recent Milford Pike County event. "We had probably given out over 150 Trump Advance signs and in two days signed up over 60 people for voter registration,” he reported. His team’s work has expanded voter registration and fostered enthusiasm and commitment among voters.
Looking ahead, Presler remains optimistic about the potential for further victories. He pointed out that Luzerne County, a key area in Joe Biden’s home region, is just 352 voters away from flipping to a Republican plurality. "Yesterday, I dropped off over 42 voter registration forms plus mail-in ballot applications,” he shared. With these efforts, he hopes to make history by transforming crucial battlegrounds in Pennsylvania.
Presler’s message is one of empowerment and action. He believes that significant changes can be achieved by confronting the doom-and-gloom mindset and engaging in proactive voter registration. His commitment to the cause and tangible results on the ground offer a roadmap for how determined grassroots efforts can shift the electoral landscape.
Presler’s discussion serves as both a rallying cry and a practical guide for conservatives eager to make a difference. His approach highlights that while challenges are real, they are not insurmountable. With sustained effort and grassroots involvement, Presler’s optimism and strategy suggest that Pennsylvania is winnable and can become a cornerstone of electoral success.
