“We didn’t get what we wanted… We had a unique opportunity to destroy the Democratic Party as a national political institution… but the wins were significant. Nancy Pelosi got fired… It’s gonna be a new day, and the Republicans will be held accountable for what they do. … You’re gonan see a lot of the thing you’ve demanded and wanted… This thing with [raising] the debt ceiling huge and it’s not done yet. But they’ve already indicated they don’t think they can do it… The debt ceiling is your key piece of leverage.”
