Efforts by the Judiciary Committee to investigate the District Attorney’s prosecutorial conduct, including attempts to interview Pomerantz, faced legal hurdles. Bannon then slammed Speaker Mike Johnson’s apparent inaction regarding the report, saying Johnson was obstructing the report from going into action.

The sudden release of this report, at the same time Bannon, the WarRoom, Julie Kelly and others are applying pressure for a formal investigation,  adds fuel to the ongoing debate surrounding alleged lawfare corruption against Trump and his supporters.
