On Tuesday’s WarRoom, Marly Hornik, CEO of United Sovereign Americans, unleashed a powerful critique of New York Attorney General Letica James and raised alarming concerns about election integrity, explicitly focusing on facial recognition issues.
"We have an attorney general who is acting as if she has a mandate from the citizens of New York to persecute her political enemies. The reality is no one knows if she really won. The Board of Elections doesn’t know, the governor doesn’t know, the state doesn’t know. Yet, she’s behaving as though she has a mandate. This is what you get when you have these kinds of election issues where you have irregularities that exceed the margins of victory in elections… is a circumstance where we have an attorney general who is acting as if she has a mandate to pursue her political agenda, rather than upholding the rule of law, ” Hornik told WarRoom host Ben Harnwell.
Hornik’s remarks centered on two major concerns. Firstly, she criticized the New York Attorney General’s conduct and questioned the validity of her electoral victory. Hornik revealed troubling statistics about the 2022 midterm elections, highlighting a 12% voting error rate, with 5.8 million facially invalid registrants on the rolls. According to Hornik, these inaccuracies are significant because nearly 750,000 of these invalid registrants actually voted. This high error rate, she argued, is troubling because it exceeds the margin of victory in James’ own race.
Hornik contended that such discrepancies raise serious questions about whether Letitia James’ election was legitimate. "We have an attorney general who is acting as if she has a mandate from the citizens of New York to persecute her political enemies,” Hornik stated. She accused James of pursuing a politically motivated agenda rather than upholding the rule of law.
The second part of Hornik’s critique addressed broader voter registration issues. Hornik highlighted findings from a recent report by United Sovereign Americans, which revealed a staggering 20% voting error rate in the 2022 midterms due to invalid registrations. "We discovered 2.4 million facially invalid registrants, including a million who were registered to vote before they were born,” she explained. Hornik’s team found thousands of entries with invalid names and addresses, undermining the integrity of the electoral process.
Hornik’s comments reflect a deep frustration with what she sees as systemic failures in election management. "We brought this information to the state back in March 2024, and they did absolutely nothing. It’s staggering that they’re rolling out another primary without addressing these issues,” she asserted. Her organization is now filing lawsuits in several states to address these problems and ensure election integrity.
Hornik emphasized the urgency of addressing these issues before the 2024 elections, calling for greater transparency and accountability. "We need to ensure that the people we elect are truly the ones the American people chose,” she stressed.
For Hornik, the integrity of elections is not just about avoiding fraud but ensuring that the democratic process is respected and upheld.
Hornik’s passionate defense of election integrity and her critique of Letitia James highlight ongoing concerns about the reliability of voter registries and the impact of these issues on public trust in the electoral system.
As she continues to advocate for reform, the stakes for ensuring a fair and transparent election process have never been higher.
