In a recent conversation, Jayne Zirkle and former Wisconsin Supreme Court Justice Mike Gableman highlighted key aspects of Wisconsin’s evolving political landscape, emphasizing the challenges and positive developments in the state’s electoral environment. Their discussion notably touched on the shifting dynamics of the Supreme Court, its implications for election laws, and the crucial role of grassroots efforts in the upcoming elections.
The SIT-REP is that Gableman is gravely concerned, but there are also solutions as long as people are willing to stay engaged—keep reading to avoid being “blackpilled.”
Gableman’s comments centered on the significant change in Wisconsin’s Supreme Court composition from a conservative to a liberal majority. He expressed concern about a recent ruling by the new liberal majority, which overturned previous decisions regarding unsupervised drop boxes for ballots. Gableman criticized this shift, calling it "ludicrous” and "absurd,” as it could lead to ballot collection points in insecure locations, such as a "brown paper bag sitting out at the end of a driveway.”
He lamented that stability in the law was prioritized when he served on the court, even if it meant upholding previous rulings despite changes in the court’s composition.
DON’T TAKE THE BLACK PILL- STAY VIGILANT
Despite these concerns, Gableman offered a hopeful outlook on the situation. He emphasized the importance of voter participation and urged citizens to participate actively in the electoral process. Gableman highlighted the critical nature of every vote, particularly in tight races where outcomes can be decided by as few as 5,000 to 20,000 votes.
SOLUTIONS TO THE DANGERS WE FACE
"Pray as if it’s up to God, work as if it’s up to us,” he advised, echoing Saint Augustine’s sentiment. He urged listeners to mobilize their networks and encourage voter turnout, especially among those who may not regularly vote but could be pivotal in deciding the election’s outcome.
One of the most positive developments Gableman pointed out was the absence of Mark Zuckerberg’s paid ballot harvesters in Wisconsin. During the 2020 election, these agents were reportedly hired to collect and influence ballots in key cities. Gableman noted that their absence this time could lead to a more honest representation of voter intentions. "The most positive news that I have to report is that the Mark Zuckerberg Harvest fell at the ballot,” he said, acknowledging this as a significant improvement in election integrity.
Gableman also addressed the current state of Wisconsin’s Republican leadership, specifically Speaker Robin Vos, whom he criticized for being a "never Trumper.” Despite this, he emphasized that the path to Trump’s re-election depends on individual efforts rather than relying on institutional support.

GRASSROOTS HAVE THE POWER-THEY HAVE TO USE IT
"It is up to you and you alone,” Gableman stressed, urging voters not to depend on party leaders but to take personal responsibility for influencing the election.
The conversation concluded with Gableman’s call to action for grassroots involvement. He encouraged listeners to be proactive in their support for Trump and to mobilize their communities. His positive outlook was anchored in the belief that individual and collective efforts could overcome institutional obstacles and significantly impact the upcoming election.
While Gableman acknowledged the challenges of recent court rulings and political dynamics, he focused on the opportunities for positive change. By emphasizing voter turnout and removing potentially biased electoral influences, he provided a hopeful perspective on how Wisconsin voters can shape the future of their state and the nation.
