Eric Trump Under Siege: MAGA Is Stronger Than Ever
ERIC TRUMP (GUEST): Well, listen, Steve, I mean, first of all, my thoughts on the MAGA movement. It is the strongest it has ever been right now. I mean, listen, I won New York Times number one bestseller by hundreds of thousands of books. It wasn’t even damn close, right? It means that people are pissed off. It means that people understand what’s happening. And every single day I am getting letters about the book saying, I’m so glad I read that. It opened my eyes to exactly who these people are and the game that they play and the lows that they are willing to stoop to otherwise destroy your family.
New York Times Tried to Hide the Bestseller
STEVE BANNON (HOST): I think, by the way, I will do the math later, but I think the book itself was such a blowout. I think you were higher than the cumulative next three or four on the New York Times. So they couldn’t say no because it sold so many books, and we know the audience.
ERIC TRUMP (GUEST): And Steve, I think you will be the first one to say this. New York Times did not want to make me number one. And they did not want to make me number one and put me on that list many, many, many weeks over. So this has become one of the best books of the year and one of the most successful books of the year. And that shows that the movement is alive and well.
I think it was actually more than that, Steve. If you were to count, I think it was probably the entire list. I mean, that is how well the book did. We sold 135000 copies in the first five days. New York Times bestseller list number one is normally like 19000, 20000, 21000, somewhere there. And so, yeah, I think we probably sold more copies than the entire list combined. We are number one on Amazon. We are number one on everything. But you know what? It shows the sentiment of this country. This country was pissed off.
Listen, I never thought I would be a number one bestselling author. I am a guy who builds buildings, and people are legitimately pissed off at the story. And I wrote it with heart and soul. I did not mince words. And I guarantee you by writing it, I pissed off a lot of people.
The Deep State’s Full Spectrum Attack on the Trump Family
STEVE BANNON (HOST): No, and I want to, the reason that, thank you so much for coming on today, I want people to buy this book. Continue. I want to give it as a gift, and particularly for the MAGA part of the audience. I want you to share this over Thanksgiving. I want you to share it over the Christmas holidays, maybe with those relatives that are not exactly MAGA or pro Trump, and just walk them through it. I think people need to see the details. There is no place that I have seen, and I have read all of them, Eric, that I have seen, you have condensed the entire story. Just tell the story about when you came out from court that day and you were sitting in the back seat of the car with the president, because I think it is one of the most powerful parts of the book, the conversation between you guys in the future about you, between you two, about the futures.
ERIC TRUMP (GUEST): By the way, that is one of the things I love about you, Steve, the fact that you dove into it and really read every word of it. And first of all, I appreciate that. I mean, it is a lot. You know, most people that do this kind of thing don’t, right?
But yeah, listen, I wouldn’t leave my father’s side in those courthouses. In fact, I often became the conduit for him because he was gag ordered so often that sometimes I was the only guy that had the voice and could run out on the courthouse steps and shout into the air while the entire media and the entire world watched about what a sham these cases were.
But he had just been convicted of 34 felony counts. We have had every one of them overturned since. So, you know, they have all been overturned. But he stands up. I am right next to him. He turns around. He shakes my hand. And we walk out together and we hop in the car.
And we are going up the FDR Drive. Many people know the FDR Drive, which is on the east side of Manhattan. It is a highway that takes you all the way north. And he looks at me. He goes, honey, I am not sure how. But somehow we are going to win this whole thing.
And when he was talking about winning the whole thing, he was talking about obviously the court case on one hand, because it was just 34 felony counts. And on the other side, it was win the presidency. And I said, Pops, you know, it is either the White House or you and I are both in jail for doing absolutely nothing wrong. That is how wide the pendulum was.
It was either you were going to be at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue or we were going to be thrown in a jail for doing nothing wrong, all because they wanted him off that stage. Again, no different than they wanted Charlie off that stage. No different than they tried to kill my father to get us off the stage. No different than I became subpoenaed 112 times because they wanted me off that stage.
And it was a White House or his jail. I firmly believe that is how wide this was. And thank God the entire country realized what they were doing to him. And they did not like it. They did not like it. They did not think it was right. They did not think it was fair. They did not think it was just.
And they, you know, so be careful of the law of unintended consequences in life. I am a big believer in that. Sometimes the things that you think are going to make sense for a whole lot of reasons, like the Democrats thought that persecuting Donald Trump would. They actually turned the guy into a martyr. I mean, they truly turned him into a martyr.
And that is why we won every swing state. That is why we won the popular vote. That is why every state in the country went to the right by a lot. That is why we won Miami Dade by 11 points. That is why we won counties in California that had never been won by a conservative ever before.
You know, that’s why we had this blowout victory, as much as Kamala doesn’t like to admit that. I think she likes to say, what was her exact line, Steve, that was the closest election of our time. I think Al Gore would probably disagree with that. But it was not a close election, it was an absolute blowout.
And people in this country were pissed off at what they were seeing, and they came out in record numbers and put my father back in office.
Assassination Attempts and the Eric Trump Under Siege Reality
STEVE BANNON (HOST): I want to bring in an unpleasant topic because of the assassination of Charlie Kirk. We saw last night, I think Jonathan Carl was at the 92nd Street Y last night that tells the story about the assassination, whether that’s fake news or true. But he mentions assassination. This is as early as back before President Trump even got the second nomination or got the second nomination before the general election started.
Then he had Miranda Devine had this stunning breaking news about the guy in Butler and about being a furry and associated with the transgender, radical transgender ideology. Do you think the apparatus has done enough in the investigations and started to try to at least connect dots, if there are dots to connect, about the assassination attempts on your father? Because this is one of the things I am most concerned about. These people, there is nothing, they will stop at nothing.
If you read the book Under Siege by Eric Trump, and I want people to read it, I want people to give it for a Christmas gift. This is something particularly all MAGA people should know. They should know chapter and verse what went on in detail. More importantly, you should give it to your family and your friends. They are maybe not MAGA or particularly those that are not pro Trump. Let them see what the president went through.
But since Charlie Kirk was assassinated in cold blood in front of the world, are you concerned that maybe the apparatus of the FBI, the DNI, CIA, all of it, are not spending enough time in getting to the bottom of at least the two assassination attempts on the president, sir?
ERIC TRUMP (GUEST): Steve, I am pissed off. I think you know I am pissed off. I spent a lot of the book talking about how pissed off I am at what happened. I mean, I am a competitive shooter. It is a world I know as well as just about anybody out there that does what, a hundred and thirty yard shot with a modern day rifle with modern day optics is a chip shot. A competent shooter will touch, you know, tuls every single time, right? This is not a hard shot. And the fact that it hit my father’s ear and missed his head is by the grace of God. I mean, two seconds later, you saw the American flag fold up right above his head.
Here is what I will say. I know Kash very, very well. Kash has been a friend of mine for a very long time. And when it was not popular, Kash was doing events with me all over the country. In fact, you did many of those same events. Three of us did many of those events. We did the ReAwaken tour events. We did a lot of them. Kash was by my side. I believe in Kash. He was a guy who was there with us through thick and thin. And I have talked to him about it. And I am satisfied.
I also love Dan Bongino. Bongino is a friend of mine for a long time. He was doing extremely well between Fox and podcasts. Transgender, say something that is extremely controversial, but it is true. Look at the vast majority of the school shooters in recent years, and they fall into one of those categories, right? And that is incredibly sad. And there is no question that there is a pandemic, and there is no question there is a mental health pandemic in this country which is causing people to do that.
But I do believe in Kash. I do believe in Bongino. They are both personal friends for years and years and years. At the same time, they should release every single detail they can on who this person is, and I think they are trying to do that. And Kash put a tweet the other night, which you probably saw.
