Alleged Voter Registration Errors in 2022 Election Spark Legal Action
Marly Hornik, representing United Sovereign Americans, appeared on Friday’s WarRoom program with Ben Harnwell and discussed a significant legal appeal focused on cleaning up voter registration lists before the 2024 election.
Hornik discussed explosive findings from the 2022 election cycle. According to Hornik, data analysis uncovered that over 3.5 million voter registrations across multiple states failed to meet legal standards of validity.
“These are registrations that don’t meet any standard of legal validity or eligibility according to the state’s own records,” Hornik stated.
The analysis, carried out by volunteer auditors, found discrepancies such as invalid birthdates, duplicate records, and registrations for individuals who could not be alive. Hornik emphasized the importance of addressing these errors, arguing that the inaccuracies found go beyond typical human mistakes and raise concerns about election integrity.
North Carolina Among Key States Facing Legal Action
Hornik highlighted that the legal appeal covers nine states: North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Florida, Texas, Michigan, Maryland, Georgia, and Colorado. These lawsuits, filed in federal court, are aimed at forcing state election officials to address these discrepancies. In North Carolina, which played a critical role in recent federal elections, the registration issues raised by Hornik’s team could significantly impact future elections.
“The litigation strategy is designed to end with either total compliance or total accountability,” Hornik explained. According to her, if states like North Carolina do not take the necessary actions to rectify the voter registration errors, they could face legal consequences. “Under the 14th Amendment, states can lose representation if they knowingly allow these errors to persist,” Hornik said, citing historical precedents for states being penalized for election fraud.

Efforts to Improve Election Integrity Ahead of 2024
Hornik stressed that the legal challenges are not about revisiting the 2022 election but rather ensuring that similar issues do not occur in the future. “This is an act of service, an act of patriotism,” she said, noting that their goal is to ensure that states uphold the law and the integrity of federal elections.
She pointed out that their efforts extend beyond simply filing lawsuits. “We provide each state’s chief election official with a comprehensive report detailing the issues we uncovered,” Hornik explained. This proactive approach allows states to fix their voter rolls before the matter escalates into legal action.
Historical and Legal Precedents Behind the Lawsuit
Hornik also discussed the historical and legal basis for the lawsuits, referencing the 14th Amendment and post-Civil War precedents where states were penalized for not ensuring election integrity. “The second section of the 14th Amendment allows for states to lose a portion of their representation if they knowingly certify incorrect election results,” Hornik said, emphasizing that this could be a severe consequence for states that fail to take action.
She further referenced a recent Supreme Court ruling that supports the ability to file lawsuits under civil rights laws dating back to 1871, arguing that the precedent shows that election fraud should be dealt with severely.

Call for Public Support and Next Steps
Hornik concluded by encouraging the public to support United Sovereign Americans in their efforts. “We need your help to continue this litigation process,” she urged. The organization is actively seeking donations and volunteers to advocate for election integrity. As the lawsuits progress, how states like North Carolina will respond to the growing legal pressure remains to be seen.
Hornik’s ongoing effort represents a significant push toward securing voter rolls ahead of the 2024 election, with the potential to reshape how voter registration and election integrity are handled across the country.
