Steve Bannon, host of the WarRoom program, outlined a bold strategy for President Trump to take control of the federal government, emphasizing the importance of seizing power from the entrenched elites.
"This is what the American people voted for,” Bannon said on Wednesday, stressing that President Trump must take the reins of the government upon his return to office.

Bannon highlighted the scale of the U.S. government, estimating that around 10 million people—military personnel, federal employees, and contractors—are involved in managing the $6.5 trillion budget. But Bannon pointed out a crucial point: The president only has 4,000 political appointees, of which 3,000 can be immediately active.
"The Senate has become a human resources department,” Bannon said, criticizing the Senate’s role in confirming appointments. He emphasized the importance of efficiently navigating the transition, which involves multiple phases: landing teams, beachhead teams, and then the full team. "Landing teams should already be over there, making sure everything is in place. It’s like a Navy ship; the watch will be relieved on January 20, 2025,” he explained.
Bannon also warned of the challenges that lie ahead, particularly the deep resistance within the current administration. He claimed that the Biden administration does not want Trump to succeed. "They want him to fail catastrophically. They don’t care about the country. They care about control,” Bannon said. This was echoed by his frustration with the ongoing war in Ukraine, noting the increasing American involvement despite Biden’s insistence on non-combatant status.
"The war is escalating. We are combatants in this war, whether we like it or not,” he added. The U.S. is deeply involved in supporting Ukraine with advanced weapons and military aid, and Bannon believes this is part of a broader strategy by the Biden administration to maintain global influence.
Bannon’s message to his followers was clear: They must remain active and vigilant. "The War Room is the vanguard of this movement,” he stated, stressing the importance of grassroots support. "People are listening when you fire up those phones, emails, and social media. You are the ones who mobilize the base. You are the reason Trump can succeed.”
Despite the challenges, Bannon believes victory is within reach. But it won’t come easily. "This is a war to the knife,” he warned. "It’s just now engaged. But you’ve got a seat at the table. You’re not just spectators. You are the driving force behind this victory.”
Bannon’s call to action is urgent. As the 2025 inauguration draws nearer, he urges those in his movement to stay focused and continue building momentum. The battle for government control is far from over, and every individual effort counts in securing Trump’s victory and reshaping the nation’s political landscape.
