Attorney General Merrick Garland, who will appear before a House Committee on Tuesday, approved the 2023 Mar-a-Lago raid on President Donald Trump’s home. He is also trying to scapegoat the WarRoom while he faces calls to answer questions about his very concerning authorization of deadly force in that raid.
‘I will not be intimidated’: Attorney General Merrick Garland told the media, as he is expected to slam attacks against Justice Department on Tuesday.
"It comes at a time when we are seeing heinous threats of violence being directed at the Justice Department’s career public servants,” Garland is expected to say, according to a CNN report. But the long line of attacks "have not, and they will not, influence our decision making.”
"I view contempt as a serious matter. But I will not jeopardize the ability of our prosecutors and agents to do their jobs effectively in future investigations,” Garland’s remarks will say..adding:
"I will not be intimidated. And the Justice Department will not be intimidated. We will continue to do our jobs free from political influence. And we will not back down from defending our democracy.”
Garland’s obstinate stand against Congress comes as Peter Navarro is in prison, serving a 4-month sentence for contempt, and Steve Bannon of the War Room faces a looming punishment for the same.
However, Garland is somehow different, and he has used the WarRoom and Julie Kelly’s coverage of these concerns to gaslight the American people, as we have previously covered.
GARLAND HAS A LOT TO ANSWER FOR
🧵
Merrick Garland will testify before @JudiciaryGOP this morning. (Let’s hope Republicans do a better job than they did yesterday with Fauci.)
Garland reportedly will denounce “baseless” attacks against DOJ including use of deadly force policy in FBI plan to raid MAL.
Garland…

Julie Kelly’s Tueday ‘X’ post on Garland’s likely testimony on Tuesday exposes several criticisms of the DOJ’s actions and accountability. Kelly expressed disappointment in Republican lawmakers’ handling of previous inquiries and anticipates Garland denouncing attacks on the DOJ, including regarding the use of deadly force in the Mar-a-Lago raid.
Kelly, whose reporting impacted Garland and caused him to make statements about the use of deadly force in the Mar-a-Lago raid, questioned Garland’s defense, demanding evidence to support his claims about the DOJ’s procedures, particularly in comparison to the raid on Joe Biden’s home. She highlights inconsistencies in the DOJ’s handling of cases, suggesting a potential double standard under Garland’s leadership.
Kelly’s critique urges Republican lawmakers to hold Garland accountable during his testimony, demanding concrete evidence because of the inconsistencies in the DOJ’s actions under his leadership.
HOW WE GOT HERE-BACKGROUND
Recently unsealed documents by Judge Alileen Cannon in a Florida case that come from Special Counsel Jack Smith’s espionage case against Trump reveal that the FBI had plans to use deadly force during the August 2022 raid of Mar-a-Lago.
These details emerged from an exhibit filed by Trump in a motion to suppress evidence seized during the raid. Judge Aileen Cannon ordered unsealed documents and investigative journalist Julie Kelly reported on them.
The operations order for the raid, dated August 3, 2022, and code-named “Plasmic Echo,” involved a significant team of FBI agents from Miami and Washington, along with representatives from FBI Headquarters and the DOJ.
They aimed to locate and seize classified information and U.S. Government records at Mar-a-Lago. The order notably included provisions for using deadly force if necessary, even if Trump or his security detail were present. Agents were also prepared for various scenarios, such as going door-to-door if guests refused to turn over room keys.
The FBI team was well-equipped with lock-picking tools, weapons, ammunition, handcuffs, and bolt cutters. Additionally, the team included a medic to tend to any injuries, with a nearby trauma center identified for emergency situations. The unsealed documents also revealed that agents ransacked the bedrooms of Melania and Barron Trump.
The head of the Washington FBI Field Office at the time, Steven D’Antuono, led this operation, as well as other significant investigations, including the January 6 Capitol riot and the Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer kidnapping plot. D’Antuono retired in November 2022.
Garland is well aware that Joe Biden has been pilfering classified documents for decades and he sets up Trump to provide political cover for Joe Biden’s national security violations.
Garlands actions are exponentially worse than Watergate in the use of government officials to undermine and attack political opponents. Garland uses his office for justifying break ins that make John Mitchell a saint.
Garland is using his office to violently and prosecutorially attack Trump and other political opponents. He has turned the DOJ into Garland’s gestapos instead of reforming a DOJ, etc., that has been derelict in duty by covering up money grubbing collusion with Russia, the CCP, Ukraine, etc., and national security violations by Hillary, Joe Biden, and others. They have fabricated allegations against Trump instead.
