Alex Bruesewitz told WarRoom that Indiana’s Republican leadership is betraying its voters by refusing to redistrict even as Gavin Newsom steals five seats in California and other states move aggressively to secure their maps.

ALEX BRUESEWITZ (GUEST): I am not sure how fun it is, Christina. It is an actual betrayal what is happening in Indiana. It is terrible what is happening. We have Republicans that still have no idea what time it is. We are watching Gavin Newsom steal five congressional seats in California and the Republican legislature in Indiana cannot even do the right thing and do what the people of Indiana want and redistrict. It is obstruction that is happening straight from the top. The state Senate president, his name is Rodric Bray. He is totally weak. He is totally clueless. And they are going to hurt our abilities to win the midterms because they refuse to do the right thing. And so it is time after time the RINO’s always let us down. I am not sure we are now ten years into the Donald J. Trump experiment. Donald Trump has taught the Republican Party how to win. And you win by being ruthless and you win by fighting and showing courage. You do not win by being a feckless loser. That is the party of the past. And for some reason that Indiana legislature still likes to live in that.
STEVE BANNON (HOST): But hang a second. Hang a second. We are already eight to nothing, correct? We are eight to nothing in Indiana. We want to go, we want to go, we want to take this, go to nine to one, right? We want that extra seat. I thought the governor was with us. We had this huge event a couple of months ago. Senator Banks, I think, put it on. Raheem was out there. I think you were. I thought we had this done. And then Mike Pence got involved. And then the state, why are they telling the President of the United States, because Virginia has just told us they are going ten to 0. So we want to go nine to zero or ten to one in Virginia. We want to go nine to zero in Indiana. Why are they getting weak now that other states have come in after the Tuesday election results and particularly after Newsom stole five seats in California? Why are they getting weak now?
ALEX BRUESEWITZ (GUEST): That is a great question, Steve. I have no idea why they are getting weak. And they are so weak. The state Senate president, Rodric Bray, he will not even call a vote to have redistricting voted on. He does not want to have the names of the RINOs out there who are going to vote to obstruct it. It is crazy what is happening. And see, two weeks ago, we saw on Tuesday two weeks ago, we saw that the Republican establishment totally let down the people of Virginia, totally let down the people of New Jersey. And they still do not know how to win with Donald Trump not on the ballot. And I can promise you that getting weak kneed, you call it out, Steve.
You have never stopped calling that out. And I think a lot of people on our side in Washington are waking up to that once again and realizing that Donald Trump might be in the White House right now. And the Republicans are still, you know, might be in the House, in the Senate, and in legislatures all across the country, but still many Republicans are not with us. They fight against us, potentially for very corrupt reasons. And so we need at least Rodric Bray, the state Senate president, to call for a vote. The people of Indiana deserve to know which senators are with them and who are against them. But I can promise you that we are going to be taking a very strong look at primarying every single RINO senator that is standing in our way on this effort.
CHRISTINA BOBB (GUEST): A hundred percent. That absolutely needs to happen. There has been this sentiment that I have seen a little bit here in D.C., you know, certainly in Congress, and I think maybe even in some aspects partly of DOJ, but it is almost like some of these Republicans seem to not realize that if they do not take the opportunity that America gave them with this huge red wave that happened in 2024, if they do not seize that opportunity, clean out the corruption, accomplish what needs to accomplish, maybe they do not realize that the tables will be turned and they will be targets. I mean, I do not know if they do not understand what happened during the previous presidential election. But Alex, do you see that? Whether it is in Indiana, I know you go all over the country. Is there some level of a Pollyanna attitude of, oh, they are not going to come after me, I am, you know, I am squeaky clean, or I am, it is like blinded by arrogance. I do not know what it is. But I see it. And I think they realize that they are standing in the bull’s eye of a target and they are about to arm their opponent. They have to take this opportunity to disarm their opponents. What do you think?
ALEX BRUESEWITZ (GUEST): Well, I totally agree with you. And I was going to use the word arrogance. There is definitely an arrogance among Republicans all across the country. And it is an unfounded arrogance because the Republican Party has not had success. Donald Trump has had success. The only reason Republicans are in the House and in the Senate and in governor’s mansions and in state legislators all across the country is because of Donald Trump and the MAGA movement. And the MAGA movement does not owe the Republicans in office anything, to be honest. And so when the Republicans in office do not fight for the MAGA voters, when they do not fight for Republican voters, there is going to be a turnout problem. And you saw that two Tuesdays ago in Virginia. You saw that. All across the country you are seeing that. When Donald Trump is not on the ballot, you have to have a reason to get these people out to vote. And they turn out for the fighters. They turn out for those who have courage. They do not turn out for those who have weak knees and always capitulate. And so we absolutely need the Republicans to get smart or get tough, or we are going to have some serious problems in 26. And Steve, I think you have been a great advocate.
STEVE BANNON (HOST): It is not simply Trump as an individual, because we know we have a terrible time getting out low propensity, lower information voters unless President Trump is on the ticket. This is why the midterms are so important. But it is also just from a policy or your pitch. In 28, I do not care who the candidate is. Are we going to say, this time we mean it? This is my point. We have a mandate. We have the House. We have the Senate. We have a majority. We have a six to three majority in the Supreme Court. We have the executive branch. You are never ever going to have this moment in time again.
CHRISTINA BOBB (GUEST): And a majority of governors and a majority of state AGs and a majority of state houses and a majority of state legislatures. Oh, by the way, are Republican.
STEVE BANNON (HOST): Hang on, hang on. And if you take the state party delegations in Congress, we have a, if we had to have a contingent election, you would win there too. We are never going to have this again. Again, Brusewitz. Your thoughts? What do they not get about we got a mandate? You have to execute on the mandate, sir.
ALEX BRUESEWITZ (GUEST): Well, your audience comes in so handy here, Steve, because you have the heart and soul of our movement that listens to your show every single day. They pick up the phones and they call their legislators and they say do the right thing. And so I guess I have a call to action to your audience. Identify the RINOs in Indiana who are obstructing. Please pick up the phone and tell them to redistrict and do what the people want. And when it comes to the Senate, like the president has been calling to abolish the filibuster, we have the majority and we do have a mandate. Donald Trump won every swing state. He won the popular vote and not by a little margin. He won by a substantial margin. There is a mandate to advance the president’s agenda. Meanwhile, we have senators who refuse to get through to end the filibuster. And it still feels like the Democrats are in charge of the Senate, which it should not feel that way. They were totally rejected in November. And the Senate lets them get, they steamroll us. And so we need to end the filibuster. We need to redistrict. And if we do not, there is going to be a massive enthusiasm problem in 2026. And then the Senate will be like, oh, golly, please, you know, you have to turn out for us or they are going to impeach Trump. Like, I do not know how much, you know. It is crazy. The only lead on Trump, I do not know what the Republican Party looks like post Trump, because it is clear as day that they still have not learned any of their lessons from the years past.
CHRISTINA BOBB (GUEST): Yeah, they are delusional thinking. They are kind of schizophrenic, because on one hand, they are delusional thinking they have more support than they actually do. But then on the other hand, they are still running on the platform of, but at least we are not the Democrats. I mean, platform.
STEVE BANNON (HOST): I just want to make a mention before you leave, Brusewitz. The fight now is Indiana. And we are going to have some numbers and some names tomorrow on the Saturday morning show. So I want to hold Posse. But we have Ohio, Florida, Kansas, Nebraska, maybe Louisiana, North Carolina. If we do not pick up a net ten seats and you have got Westmore calling some commission together in Maryland, Spanberger has already said we are going ten to one in the Commonwealth, Virginia. I want all the RINOs to understand you are having it, six point five now. You are having four seats blown out, okay? And they are going to do it. So, Brusewitz, what is your call to action overall? We will have names and numbers tomorrow’s show and Monday show. But right now, what is the call to action?
ALEX BRUESEWITZ (GUEST): Well, your country needs you right now. Your audience, our country needs you right now. You have to be as engaged as ever. You need to be putting pressure on the Republicans who are in positions of power and who have the ability to do the right thing. And if they do not, then we need to turn out in massive numbers in 2026 to primary these people and put people in place who will have the courage. And I think the entire MAGA movement is incredibly frustrated with what they are seeing come out of Republicans in Washington. They are frustrated what they are seeing come out of Republicans in the legislature. And then they look at the Democrats in California and in Virginia, who do not get weak kneed, who literally just bulldoze. And we need to take, we have to learn a few lessons from them. We have to fight for our people. We need to fight for what is right. And I think your audience is going to be so critically important to make sure that they do.
