Linda Szynkowicz provided critical updates on efforts to address the issue of illegal voters on the voting rolls, emphasizing actionable steps for concerned citizens. Appearing on the WarRoom with Ben Harnwell on Thursday, Szynkowicz outlined significant developments and practical measures to combat voter fraud, particularly involving non-citizens.
Szynkowicz began by highlighting the release of a crucial letter available on the Fight Voter Fraud website. This letter, addressed to Nevada’s Secretary of State Francisco Algor, offers a comprehensive guide on identifying and removing illegal voters from the voting rolls.
According to Szynkowicz, "We received an email with a fantastic letter detailing how Secretaries of State can identify and remove illegals from voter rolls. This will be shared on our website for public access.” The letter is a significant resource, providing specific tools and strategies for state officials to use in purging voter rolls of unauthorized individuals.
The conversation also brought attention to recent findings by Ohio Secretary of State Frank LaRose, who identified 735 illegal voters in Ohio. This number includes 138 individuals who had already cast ballots in previous elections. Szynkowicz praised LaRose’s actions, noting that these cases have been forwarded to law enforcement for further investigation. This development underscores the ongoing efforts to tackle illegal voting and highlights the importance of state-level vigilance in ensuring electoral integrity.
Szynkowicz’s discussion was not just about reporting these issues but also about mobilizing action at the grassroots level. She urged citizens to take proactive steps to address illegal voting. One of the key actions she recommended was for people to contact their state officials directly.
"We want you to utilize the bullet points that we are sending or will have on the website and send the letters to your Secretary of State,” she explained. The Fight Voter Fraud website will host these resources, including templates and guidelines for drafting letters to state and local officials.
In addition to contacting Secretaries of State, Szynkowicz encouraged sending similar letters to state Attorney Generals. This dual approach ensures that if Secretaries of State do not act promptly, there is additional pressure from law enforcement officials. She stated, "We are going to encourage everyone to send letters also to your Attorney Generals just in case the Secretary of State doesn’t get the letters to look at how they can do this.”
Szynkowicz pointed out that the use of motor vehicle departments to verify citizenship is not always reliable. She highlighted concerns that even when states use these departments to check voter eligibility, discrepancies can arise, particularly with non-citizens obtaining driver’s licenses.
"Even the driver’s licenses you’re seeing that are coded in some states may not be accurate,” she noted. This potential flaw in the verification process underscores the need for more rigorous checks and balances.
To facilitate these actions, Szynkowicz urged listeners to visit the Fight Voter Fraud website, where they will find the necessary documents and templates to support their advocacy. She emphasized the importance of widespread participation, aiming for thousands of letters to be sent to officials across the country. "We’re hoping to have thousands and thousands and thousands of letters that get sent to Secretary of States,” she said.
Szynkowicz’s appearance on the WarRoom was a call to action for those concerned about election integrity. By leveraging resources available on their website, contacting key officials, and maintaining vigilance over voter verification processes, citizens can play a crucial role in ensuring that the electoral system remains fair and transparent.
