The War Room keeps on featuring guests who say "You know, people accuse me of being a racist Christian nationalist, I say the following to them. I am an unapologetic Christian, and also happen to be a nationalist, so I suppose it's true." However, constantly discussing religion can be off-putting. In particular Ben Harnwell, especially what he said today June 6! I enjoy listening to the War Room for its political excellent analysis, but the religious focus is too intense. I'm not tuning in for a religious podcast. Moreover, I'm against the idea of a Christian nationalist state. I wonder how Steve Bannon would feel about a Jewish or Muslim nationalist state, even if it supported MAGA. The amazing thing about this country is that it was founded by people seeking religious freedom, and no specific religion was ever imposed on anyone. Let's not get sidetracked and stick to the meat and potatoes! keep up the important political analysis!
Your comment contains the answer my friend! Because we are free to choose our beliefs in this country and because we are free to speak our thoughts and beliefs is why War Room expresses their beliefs and ideologies. In having this freedom in our country-it does not mean we just don't talk about our beliefs because it might bother someone else, but we share it, opening the opportunity for conversation between one another, not pretending that differences don't exist. It gives us opportunity to see things through the eyes of one another. Something from that interaction may influence a change in the way we see things, or it may reaffirm our thoughts we had to start with. But the point is that we are communicating and learning from each other.
I appreciate that you brought this up. You have the freedom to decide to turn the station ( of any channel or any person) if you are hearing something that you don't particularly agree with. That's true freedom. When another person, group or organization brings "religion" into it-it is usually because faith is interwoven with their world view. As a Christian, all we do every day should manifest the reflection of who we follow. Jesus. We can't and shouldn't and if we're truly followers-aren't even capable of separating Him from our actions and speech. Not that we are trying to "cram it down the throats" of others as others always have a choice as to whether they want to listen or not. Honestly, it is because our nation has become so separate from faith in our communications, perceptions and actions that we are in this mess we are in. When these things are again brought together we will see the moral nature of our country change towards one that was originally intended by our Founders.
There is no doubt that our Republic greatly benefitted from our Judeo-Christian influence. That's why the Marxists want to deny that it exists. I celebrate that inheritance, albeit from the Judeo side of things. I'll fight to the death, if necessary, to see that it endures.
Our country was founded upon our Creator and His biblical principles. God’s Word was a major part within the fabric of our society. Churches flourished with believers. Jesus Christ was in the center of our society and people respected one another; along with our Christian faith. Our country started to fall apart when just one, godless, woman won her court case to remove prayer from schools. Stopping the recitation of the Pledge of Allegiance soon followed; along with the removal of our American flag. My question has, always, been: "Where were all the Christians to stop all of this?” This was the beginning of the end for our country, and look where we are N O W! True believers in the Lord, Jesus Christ, understand that without Him, there is no life worth living! ✝️🇺🇸
I am curious why War room is leaving John Frederick's Radio? What is going on?
