Stephen A. Smith, a prominent sports television personality and journalist from the Bronx, NY, recently discussed President Donald J. Trump’s influence in politics and made scathing comments about the weakness of Trump’s opponents, who are using lawfare to prevent Trump, a presidential candidate for 2024, from campaigning to the American people.
“All you are doing is showing that you can not beat him on the issues and the merits. That is why he keeps saying it is a political campaign against me,” Smith told his audience, referring to the current events in New York City at the courthouse, where Trump faces very legal moves against him.
Smith, known for his NBA analysis on ESPN, shared his views on Trump’s soaring popularity and savage political battle in a recent podcast. His noteworthy commentary on Trump’s opponents’ tacky lawfare tactics drew a response from Steve Bannon of the WarRoom, who emphasized that Smith was picking up on a Globalist agenda that people didn’t like and on a Populist agenda that people did like.
Then Bannon took it further and crushed Trump’s opponents in a Bannon-style rant, adding to Smith’s passionate takedown.
On his Wednesday show, Bannon highlighted the divide among the American people, saying the breakdown is not about Trump’s personality but rather is based on the American First policy and the American people’s national identity.
Bannon slammed elites for not considering the American people enough of a priority in their government policy and funding demands.
“We’re America first and America’s citizens but they don’t treat us that way. First, Look at any Metropolitan area. Look at the destruction. That’s going on. Look at your state City Hall. Thousands of illegal alien Invaders were brought in here by the Biden regime and invited here by the global Elites because they want lower wages. Brother, There is the timing bomb to destroy the African-American Community and the Hispanic Community in this country. Citizens in this country should be A-List. They should be preferred stockholders.. Like in the nation. It’s not simply America first. It’s America citizens. First,” Bannon said in agreement with Smith.
Bannon argued that Trump’s critics resort to extreme measures due to an inability to challenge him on substantive grounds.
Bannon stressed the importance of prioritizing American citizens’ interests over globalist agendas, citing concerns about immigration and economic policies that resonate across party lines and ethnic lines.
Bannon also said the ongoing struggle reflects a broader societal awakening across ethnic and class lines. He warned of concerted judicial and legislative efforts to hinder Trump’s agenda, indicating a shift in traditional party dynamics.
The WarRoom host expressed confidence in the growing awareness among American citizens, foreseeing a realignment in political discourse that hopefully includes people like Smith and his audience. Bannon hinted that Trump faces an epic battle for America, and we are stronger together against the Globalist elite.
