The thin GOP majority in the House presents challenges. Bannon predicted the count could drop to 215-217 with several key members likely stepping down after January. "I dare anyone to oppose Donald Trump’s agenda,” he said, referring to items like the border wall and the Parents’ Bill of Rights, which have already passed the House.

Despite the uphill battle, Degrasse highlighted Trump’s unmatched political influence. "Donald J. Trump will outperform every single House candidate, Senate candidate, and governor down the line,” he said. The failure of GOP leadership to prepare for this dominance has left the party scrambling. "This is a wake-up call, but it’s coming too late,” Bannon added.

McConnell’s Resistance: A Hidden Obstacle

DeGrasse didn’t mince words about GOP Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell. "McConnell doesn’t want to fight for these seats,” he said, pointing to losses in states like Wisconsin and Nevada. DeGrasse accused McConnell of deliberately avoiding battles that could strengthen Trump’s influence in the Senate. "They like the fact it’s only 53 [Democratic seats]… They like kowtowing to McConnell,” he asserted.

The Sophisticated Opposition: GOP and Democrats Unite

Bannon described a "highly sophisticated” operation targeting Trump allies and nominees, with opposition not just from Democrats but also from within the GOP. "This is the most vicious fight… with friends on our side involved,” he said. DeGrasse echoed the urgency, saying, "If Pete Hegseth goes down, they’ll move to the next one. We have to break them with Pete.”
