Former Deputy Director of ICE Madison Sheahan on Running for Congress to Represent Ohio’s 9th Congressional District
On WarRoom, Madison Sheahan explains why ICE is under attack, why politicians are misrepresenting the agency, and why she’s taking the fight from enforcement to Congress.
Sheahan says ICE agents do some of the hardest work in law enforcement, going after violent criminals every day and enforcing laws Congress passed. She points out that the agency expanded and became more effective under President Trump because leadership backed officers on the ground. She also calls out Marcy Kaptur for attacking ICE publicly after voting for the very laws ICE enforces.
Sheahan says that disconnect is why she’s running for Congress. She argues Trump needs fighters on Capitol Hill who will back law enforcement, pass serious legislation, and move the America First agenda forward. For her, the campaign is about taking real enforcement experience into Congress and giving northwest Ohio a voice after decades with the same representative.
