The Thursday evening episode of WarRoom, hosted by Steve Bannon, aired on September 18, 2025, and covered a whirlwind of political, economic, and cultural topics with a strong MAGA perspective. Bannon opened by discussing artificial intelligence’s role in nuclear power and critiqued the “administrative state” and “deep state,” vowing to dismantle institutions allegedly orchestrating a “color revolution” against Americans.

He praised President Trump’s plan to designate Antifa as a terrorist organization, linking it to NGOs, media, and funding sources. He celebrated the firing of Jimmy Kimmel for smearing the MAGA movement and Charlie Kirk.

Bannon urged CBS to cancel Stephen Colbert’s show, calling it a financial loss and Democratic propaganda, potentially violating election laws.

The show mourned the assassination of Charlie Kirk, framing it as the “first state funeral of the MAGA movement,” with plans for extensive coverage on Real America’s Voice. Bannon also announced the passing of Sergeant Boone Cutler, an American hero and co-author with Mike Flynn on fifth-generation warfare, who died of a heart attack. He highlighted Cutler’s work on veteran suicide prevention via the Spartan Sword pledge.

Shifting to vaccines and Big Pharma, Bannon featured Dr. Merrill Nass discussing a CDC advisory committee (ACIP) meeting reformed under RFK Jr.’s influence. The committee debated safer vaccine schedules, including delaying hepatitis B shots for newborns and separating MMRV components to reduce seizures in infants—monumental changes challenging a $1.5 trillion industry. Nass noted pushback from pharma allies, with more on COVID vaccines for babies upcoming.

Economic segments included Philip Patrick from Birch Gold Group, analyzing gold surging past $3,700 amid Fed rate cuts, central bank buying, de-dollarization, and potential World War III escalations involving Russia, China, and Ukraine. Bannon tied this to Trump’s economic warfare threats, like secondary sanctions on Russian oil buyers, and warned of a possible U.S. government shutdown over the continuing resolution (CR), criticizing non-essential personnel amid $37 trillion debt.

Other topics: Patriot Mobile’s support for conservative causes, home title security, NordVPN, American Home Shield, and MyPillow promotions. Bannon interviewed Maureen Bannon on Cutler’s legacy and youth voter mobilization at the Texas Youth Summit. Geopolitical fears included Chinese threats, drones, and nuclear escalations. The episode emphasized action against perceived enemies, urgency in MAGA strategies, and no unity with opponents.

Ben Harnwell hosts the second hour of the Warroom and opens with a prayer for Charlie Kirk, his family, and colleagues, framing his death as tragic but spiritually significant. They assert a theological response—rooted in the Incarnation and Christ’s redemptive suffering—that hopes God will bring greater good from a horrific evil. The conversation then shifts to a tribute delivered in Belfast, where Jenny Holland spoke about Charlie’s life and work; the hosts praise her remarks and the composure of the memorial.

A central theme is the claim that "woke” ideology and the left’s campaign to cancel and demonize opponents has escalated into an environment that culminated in the political assassination of Charlie Kirk. The speakers argue that the left cannot tolerate free speech because it exposes contradictions and lies, and they present Charlie as a martyr for free speech. They broaden the scope by linking Charlie’s killing to similar attacks on Christians abroad, notably the murder in France of a Chaldean Catholic podcaster who streamed in Arabic and was followed and stabbed on camera. That killing is used to illustrate a pattern of increasing anti-Christian violence—vandalism, threats, and targeted attacks—that the speakers say is being underreported or downplayed by media and authorities.

Immigration and cultural change are presented as driving forces behind rising religious tension in Europe. The speakers criticize political leaders and church authorities—especially the Pope and other Catholic leadership—for offering platitudes on migration while failing to acknowledge the cultural conflicts and violent consequences they argue follow from rapid demographic change. They contend that institutional churches have been complicit or ineffectual, leaving a spiritual vacuum and fueling popular distrust. At the same time, they note a strong grassroots spiritual thirst, especially among young people, who are reportedly turning toward Christian identity and public expressions of faith.

Coverage of a Belfast rally highlights a surprisingly broad conservative coalition—former leftists, LGBTQ conservatives, devout Protestants, and others—who gathered to honor Charlie. The speakers emphasize that while the left demands ideological conformity, the right contains a wider range of views that can nonetheless unite around basic truths. They frame the rally as an expression of exhaustion with cancel culture and slander, and as a commitment to keep debating and defending what they call "real truths.”

The conversation closes with a discussion about religion and technology—particularly the rise of faith apps and chatbots that deliver scripture and spiritual guidance. While acknowledging the genuine hunger these tools satisfy (one app reportedly outperformed mainstream social apps in downloads), the speakers warn of the dystopian potential of AI assuming spiritual roles: helpful for comfort and scripture, yet potentially sinister if controlled or manipulated by secular or ideological actors. They argue that real spiritual life requires flesh-and-blood community—churches, leaders, and institutions—rather than substituting machines for spiritual leadership. Overall, the tone blends grief, cultural critique, and a call to reclaim public and spiritual space in the face of hostility.
