As the Republicans in the Senate send the Johnson tax package to the finance committee to be reviewed and calculated Former Congressman Dave Brat of Virginia joins Steve Bannon’s WarRoom to share his analysis on the tax plan which he says is better described as a "tax patronage” because it doles out cash for political reasons. Brat details that the tax plan entails the richest 120,000 households would receiving a larger share of tax benefits than the bottom 88 million families. The poorest 20% of families would receive just $60 and the rich 0.1% get $57,000 each. The bill also decreases tax burden on major tech corporations like Meta.
On the immigration front, in addition to giving work permits, Brat explains the cost to tax payers for providing public service to illegal immigrants such as education. In Los Angeles it cost $50,000 per student per year in K-12 education.
