McCarthy points to how Nancy Pelosi and Democrats protected the Speaker in the past from removal when asked if he would seek support from Democrats in a recent interview with CNBC. McCarthy also accuses the removal attempt as "playing politics.” Bannon explains the core issues of needing massive spending cuts and as a result of McCarthy working and being apart of the establishment pushing the nation towards economic destruction he must be removed as Speaker to send a message.
