“One of the really really scary things in there is that real disposable income … dropped precipitously last year, and 90 percent of that drop was due entirely to inflation. It fell a trillion dollars..,. In percentage terms that is the second worst drop ever. The only time it was exceeded was 1932, the worst year of the Great Depression.”
