You are correct in what you say about the WW2 generation. My stepdad lied about his age and went in at age 16. He was captured in Germany and spent two years as a POW. At the end of the war, he escaped, and the Russians helped get him back to our troops. His brother was a POW of Japan. I’m glad you tell the history of things, and I learn a lot. Thanks.
