During a contentious Contempt of Congress Markup meeting within the House Oversight Committee on Thursday, Representatives Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) found themselves embroiled in a heated verbal confrontation, which triggered a flurry of commotion and captured widespread attention.

Footage from the scene reveals a cacophony of voices as Democrats from various corners of the room joined the tumult, perhaps in an attempt to divert focus from the committee’s recently reccomended Contempt of Congress charges levied against Democratic US Attorney General Merrick Garland.

Chair of the committee  Democrat Jamie Raskin had opened the committee meeting- and had been trying to provoke the committee in retribution to an appearance of other Republicans at the NYC Courthouse the same day; according to his admission to the media:

“MAGA followers, including Speaker Johnson, make a pilgrimage to NYC to affirm their love for a false prophet who makes false profits, the cult leader and criminal defendant Donald Trump, an adjudicated rapist and fraudster. Exodus: "Thou shalt not follow a multitude to do evil.”

His frame of mind was on stirring up trouble, and that is what he did as evidenced by footage of the brawl:

The allegations for Contempt of Congress appeared to make the Democrats on the Committee very uncomfortable, and stem from Garland’s refusal to divulge information regarding President Joe Biden’s handling of classified documents, which dates back to Biden’s tenure as Vice President under Barack Obama.

Their reaction raises pertinent questions that Democrats do not seem to like: What prompts the Democrats’ evident distress, and could it signify attempts to conceal relevant information?

This situation is especially noteworthy because Democrats are implicating Trump for actions similar to those allegedly undertaken by Biden.

Ironically, the backdrop of these developments is Trump’s ongoing trial in New York City for purportedly engaging in criminal behavior. Republicans are now beginning to scrutinize potential conflicts of interest, the credibility of individuals testifying against Trump, and what appears to be a politically motivated campaign against him while Biden remains untouched by consequences.

The MTG and AOC confrontation that drew the public’s attention reached a crescendo when Greene reacted to bitter and accusatory comments from Rep. Jasmine Crockett, as MTG said something about Crockett’s false eyelashes. “Some people are upset about the scene from Oversight Committee last night, well I’m upset and disgusted pretty much everyday at the Democrat controlled DOJ, federal government, and Congress in general. The Democrat DOJ is weaponized against us.

They want to put Pres Trump in jail the rest of his life which is a death sentence! They are throwing people in prison by the thousands for years for protesting the 2020 election but ignore their own paid criminal rioters.

They put Peter Navarro in prison and will soon put Steve Bannon in prison because of Nancy Pelosi’s corrupt January 6th Committee that broke House rules and hired an ABC TV producer to put on their prime time nightly hearings of LIES. The Democrats are the same people who voted to kill unborn babies up until the day of birth and they would march us all in front of a firing squad if they could. 

Congress has enslaved the American people in over $34 TRILLION in debt and that will be over $55 TRILLION in only 10 years. Washington DC only cares about funding and fighting foreign wars while fully and cowardly refusing to fight the war waged against the American people at our own southern border.

Pardon me if I don’t talk as nicely as some people would like to hear. I’m not going to keep you all addicted to outrage and hopium that never solves a problem or stops the inevitable implosion of the United States of America.
