Steve Bannon has been a vocal advocate for the truth regarding the Hunter Biden laptop controversy, framing it as a pivotal issue in U.S. politics. Over the years, his commentary reflects his general critique of what he views as corruption and misconduct by the administrative state within the political elite.
“Come for the porn and stay for the compromise,” Bannon has said over and over to describe the notorious contents of the Hunter Biden laptop.
The emergence of Mark Zuckerberg’s confession- that Facebook censored content from the laptop before the 2020 election- is a renewed interest in how America got the laptop in the first place.
The answer is that while the administrative state had it since 2019, the truth of what was on it came from brave patriots at Steve Bannon’s WarRoom.
In his many WarRoom discussions, Bannon has often emphasized the significance of the laptop’s contents as indicative of massive corruption that compromised the entire Biden family, including Joe Biden. He has argued that the laptop, which reportedly contains various personal and business communications of Hunter Biden, exposes a systemic failure and a troubling nexus between the Biden family and foreign interests.
Bannon and his associates, such as former New York City Mayor Rudy Guilini, have paid a heavy price for exposing the Laptop. Bannon currently sits in a federal correctional facility, and Guiliani has been lawfared into bankruptcy, and others have paid a heavy price for getting the information out to the American people.
Bannon’s perspective on the laptop is part of his wider narrative about a corrupt political establishment. He has repeated that the issues raised by the laptop reveal severe ethical and legal concerns, including national security, that warrant thorough investigation.
In his WarRoom broadcasts and interviews, Bannon has said that the mainstream media and political establishment have downplayed or ignored the dangers of the laptop’s contents. The public has been made aware of everyone in the corporate media who covered up the story or was too weak to report on it’s damaging contents.

“We are going to jam it down their throats, all of their corruption and all of their evil and what they have tried to do to this nation,” Bannon said in 2022 on a WarRoom Pandemic show where he talks about exposing the laptop.
In the clip below, Bannon makes a series of provocative and critical comments about Joe Biden and the mainstream/ corporate media. He expresses frustration over what he perceives as a lack of accountability and transparency regarding criminal activity. Bannon targets various media figures and organizations, accusing them of being complicit in covering up or failing to adequately investigate issues related to Biden and Hunter Biden.
Bannon criticized Axios, particularly its journalists Mike Allen and Jonathan Swan, and HBO’s Axios coverage of Hunter Biden’s laptop. He dismissed their efforts to serve the American people as insufficient, claiming they did not adequately challenge Biden or investigate serious allegations that emerged from the laptop.
Bannon stated in 2022, “I think Joe Biden’s Stone Cold lies to your face mainstream media… and the worst one was the HBO Axios.”
He asserted that despite persistent questioning, Biden was not held accountable for his actions exposed in the laptop investigations, reflecting a broader media failure.
Bannon expressed a deep distrust of mainstream media outlets such as The Washington Post, The New York Times, and CNN, accusing them of stonewalling and lying. According to Bannon, “The mainstream media… just lied Stonewall and lied over the last year.”
He lamented Biden’s lack of follow-up and rigorous scrutiny, suggesting that the media’s reluctance to pursue these stories was a significant issue.
Bannon also discussed his own efforts to investigate Hunter Biden’s laptop, describing his findings as shocking. He claimed that the laptop contained evidence of significant corruption, stating, “We knew we had the receipts… the depravity of Hunter Biden’s lifestyle is… you’ve got to see it, you can’t describe it, it’s that bad.”
He alleged that the mainstream media and political figures like Bill Barr and Chris Wray were aware of the laptop’s contents but failed to act, thus suppressing the story.
From Monday’s news, we know that Bannon was right all along about the laptop’s contents, the suppression of the information, the reaction the information would get from voters, and the censorship.
Bannon declared his intention to push for Biden’s impeachment over the laptop, starting from the day Biden was sworn in- in 2021, outlining three primary charges: exacerbating the border crisis, corruption related to Hunter Biden, and alleged misconduct by figures like Dr. Anthony Fauci.
He emphasized then, “We’re going to destroy the Democratic party root and branch,” and asserted, “We’re going to impeach Joe Biden.”
Bannon’s comments were a vehement critique of the media’s role in covering up or downplaying allegations against Biden, a call to action for investigating and impeaching Biden, and a declaration of his broader political goals.
And he has been vindicated.
