Stephen K. Bannon, Raheem Kassam, and Jason Miller were joined by General Mike Flynn‘s attorney Sidney Powell on Episode 69 of War Room: Impeachment to discuss the upcoming Senate trial and how President Trump should not just go for acquittal, but full exoneration.
Host Stephen K. Bannon began by asking the attorney: “Should President Trump go for full exoneration in the Senate trial? Should he get lawyers like [Rep. Matt] Gaetz, and like [Rep. Louie] Gohmert, and people like you? Should he go full on and not just ask for an acquittal? Should he get all these people in there and make them witnesses of fact?”
“I think he should,” Powell affirmed. “I think he ought to subpoena and demand testimony from whoever he wants to demand it from. And yes, [President Trump] should be completely exonerated.”
Powell pushed back against the Democrats and their process, saying: “[Democrats] haven’t charged anything. It’s the most baseless, ridiculous, farcical process and alleged substance of any impeachment proceeding in the history of the country.”
