House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s delay in letting the Senate begin an impeachment trial of President Trump has taken the heat off the issue so much that now just 1 in 10 believe he will be removed from office.

The latest Rasmussen Reports revealed today that 12% believe that the Senate will oust the president. Removal was always a long shot because the unified GOP caucus is in the majority.

According to the polling analysis shared with Secrets: “Only 12% now feel it’s more likely that Trump will be impeached and removed from office before serving his first full term. That’s down from a high of 29% when Rasmussen Reports first asked this question in late December 2017 and marks a new low.”
