After the Senate voted against subpoenaing additional records from the Office of Management and Budget (OMB), OMB released a trove of documents – 192 pages – to the “nonpartisan watchdog” American Oversight (AO).

According to AO, the documents obtained through the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) consisted of “emails from OMB Acting Director Russell Vought and Michael Duffey, OMB’s associate director for national security, including one from Duffey on the day of President Donald Trump’s July 25 call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenksy.”

What exactly is AO, an organization “cited by almost every mainstream news outlet but nobody tells you who they are”?

That’s a massive red flag.

CNN’s description of them as “the transparency group American Oversight” and the New York Times presenting them as “the nonprofit group American Oversight” is textbook media spin.

War Room: Impeachment co-host Raheem Kassam likens them to “a lot of bureaucratic government process”.

“Effectively what the emails show is people going back and forth saying we’ve got to get a hold on this, we’re pausing this, we’re trying to explain why it’s happening internally, and trying to figure out how we deal with it.”

Kassam summarizes: “It’s a Very, very heavily left wing organization least 11 of 17 staffers have history in the Democrstic party and working for Joe Biden.”

“Nonpartisan” is the last word that describes AO’s executive director Austin Evers. He contributed to Barack Obama and Elizabeth Warren’s presidential campaigns in addition to a slew of Democratic representatives: Beto O’Rourke, Elissa Slotkin, Jacky Rosen, and Antonio Delgado.

And of course he was also involved in a Hillary Clinton controversy surrounding her use of a private email server.

He was one of the State Department lawyers tasked with handling the former Secretary of State’s FOIA requests despite having no prior experience with them. His only qualification? He worked at the law firmWilliams and Connolly – hired to represent Clinton during the investigation. Coincidence?

In a letter to the Inspector General, House Judiciary Chairman Bob Goodlatte asserted: “at the very least, this suspect arrangement raises questions about the State Department hiring process,” but “at worst, it suggests willful obstruction by handpicked Clinton associates at the State Department on behalf of former Secretary Clinton, to ensure damaging or incriminating documents never saw the light of day.”

AO’s Senior Director Melanie Sloan is also knee-deep in Democratic politics. She previouslyworked for now Senate Minority Leader Charles Schumer, as well as then Senator Joe Biden, and House Judiciary Committee Ranking Member John Conyers.”

The organization’s Chief Counsel is John Bies, who “served for eight years in the Obama administration”

AO’s Deputy Director for Outreach and Operation is a former staffer for Hillary Clinton’s 2016 campaign.

Their communications director was a press secretary for the U.S. Department of Transportation during the Obama administration and also worked on his reelection campaign.

A member of AO’S legal team, Cerissa Cafasso, was an Obama-era counselor to the deputy secretary and counsel to the solicitor at the U.S. Department of Labor.

Essentially every person on AO’s staff has either worked for a Democratic politician or been involved in highly partisan, unabashedly left-wing activism.

It was also “part-founded by David Brock, the head of the very heavily left-wing Media Matters” outlined Kassam, an organization which enjoys funding from activists like George Soros.

And it’s conception is just as swampy:

“In January 2017, dozens of high-dollar left wing political donors met at a Florida resort to hear about a proposal to produce a “steady stream of open records requests” and lawsuits against Trump, his administration and his family, as the means to generate “anti-Trump media coverage.” The overall strategy was defined as “resist the normalization of Donald Trump” with the ultimate goal to defeat him in 2020 or “through impeachment.”

It’s no surprise that AO was also active during the confirmation of Brett Kavanaugh. They “filed several lawsuits, legal motions and FOIA requests seeking documents regarding Kavanaugh’s previous federal employment within the White House under President George W. Bush, and while working on the investigations of President Clinton by then-independent counsel Ken Starr.”

Despite all this, the mainstream media wants you to think they’re completely unbiased…
