Stephen K. Bannon was joined by Representative Fred Keller of Pennsylvania’s 12th District on Episode 49 of War Room: Impeachment to discuss the opportunity cost of the Democrat’s impeachment proceedings.

Bannon began: “You brought up something that we don’t think is getting enough coverage: the opportunity cost of forcing the country into a Constitutional crisis over the holiday season. It’s sucked all the oxygen out of the air on Capitol Hill. Can you be specific, what is not going on that should be going on because we’re focused on this impeachment?”

Keller answered: “The first thing I’m going to talk about, it’s been on the Speaker’s desk since the beginning of the year, and that’s the trade agreement between the United States, Mexico, and Canada – the USMCA. I mean, in Pennsylvania alone it’s 17,000 agricultural jobs and 42,000 manufacturing jobs… That’s what’s at stake. You know we, as politicians, we all talk about jobs when we run for office – jobs, jobs, jobs. You can’t be pro-jobs and be anti-business. This is a bill right here that’s going to help our agriculture industry, it’s going to help our manufacturing jobs, and we need to get that [done] – it’s been there for how long?”

“The Speaker at one point in time says ‘well we thought we would get it done,’ then she says ‘oh we don’t know if we have time for it.’ And now it seems like she may have backtracked on that again.”
