An FBI lawyer, Kevin Clinesmith, altered an email concerning Trump 2016 campaign foreign policy advisor Carter Page’s status as a CIA source, it has been revealed.

Judiciary Committee Chairman Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) revealed during his opening statement in the Senate Committee Wednesday that Clinesmith, who had previously texted another anti-Trump friend the words “Viva La Resistance!” was “caught” and will be referred for criminal prosecution.

“I am so stressed about what I could have done differently,” he wrote in a text message just hours after the Trump victory in 2016, before sending the “Viva la Resistance!” text on November 22nd 2016.

Despite this evidence of clear political bias, the Inspector General’s report earlier this week attempt to whitewash the matter, claiming there were flaws in the FBI’s handling of the Trump investigation, but no bias.

Attorney General Bill Barr has pushed back against this assertion.

Today the Senate Judiciary Committee heard how Clinesmith had reached out to the CIA to confirm Page was a source for them, and when it was confirmed that he was, Clinesmith allegedly doctored the email to say he wasn’t – assisting the case for FBI warrants to spy on the Trump campaign.

“What they find is the lawyer supervising the process at the FBI, according to Mr. Horowitz, doctored an e-mail from the CIA to the FBI. And he’s going to be referred for criminal prosecution,” said Sen. Graham in his opening remarks.

“Why is that important? Carter Page, who’s been on the receiving end of all this… they claim that Carter Page meets [sic] with three people known to be Russian agents. Carter Page, while being wire tapped by his government says ‘I don’t know two of these people’, and to this day there’s no proof that he met two of the three.

“The third person, he says, ‘Yeah I met him, I told the CIA about my meeting because I was a source for the CIA’.

“So they would have you believe that Carter Page is working against our government. Not with our government,” added Sen. Graham.

“So Carter Page in the summer of 2017 is trying to tell anybody and everybody: ‘I was working with the CIA. I reported my contact with this person’. And nobody believed him. The CIA had told the FBI it was true earlier, but it never made it through the system.

“Somebody got so rattled at the FBI, they asked Mr. Clinesmith to check it out. He checks it out. He communicates with the CIA: ‘Is Carter Page a source for you?’. In an email exchange they say ‘Yes he is’. What does Mr. Clinesmith do?

“He alters the email to say ‘No he’s not”. And you caught him”.

This FBI lawyer’s alleged actions to manufacture evidence was a gross betrayal to the oath he took to faithfully execute the laws of this nation.

Carter Page was working with the security agencies of the government of the United States of America as a patriot, not as Russian assets as the intelligence community had forged evidence to reflect.

President Trump addressed the IG report in Hershey, Pennsylvania on Tuesday night:

“They spied on our campaign, okay? Never happened before in the history of our country. And we’re really wise to it. We’re wise to it. The inspector general filed that the FBI’s spying application contains 17 errors and omissions commonly known as lies and deceit. When the FBI, and you have great people in the FBI but not in leadership. You have not good people and leadership.

“When the FBI uncovered evidence showing that we did absolutely nothing wrong, which was right at the beginning, they hid that exonerating, you know that, they hid it. They hid it so nobody could see it and they could keep this hoax going on for two more years. They knew right at the beginning…

“The FBI also sent to multiple undercover human spies to surveillance and record people associated with our campaign. Look how they’ve hurt people. They’ve destroyed the lives of people that were great people, that are still great people. Their lives have been destroyed by scum. Okay, by scum.

“An FBI lawyer forged, took an e-mail, forged, forged an e-mail used as evidence. An act which is now the subject of a criminal referral. Okay. What they did is so unbelievable. I look forward — I don’t know, I don’t know, keep away, I look forward to Bull Durham’s (John Durham) report, that’s the one I look forward to. And this report was great by the IG, especially since he was appointed by President Barack Hussein Obama”.
