Stephen K. Bannon, Raheem Kassam, and Jason Miller were joined by Congressman Matt Gaetz on Episode 28 of War Room: Impeachment to discuss the first public impeachment hearings and the alleged ‘bombshell’.
“I think every American knows that you cannot swear on a stack of Bibles that you are absolutely certain of what you heard off of somebody else’s cell phone in a restaurant. This is the type of thing that I think the American people just see through,” Gaetz explained.
“I think the Democrats are way overplaying their hand believing that they can fashion evidence where it doesn’t truly exist, and I think that’s what you see.”
Referring to the supposed ‘bombshell’ in the testimony, Gaetz said: “You likely have some bright minds advising Democrats saying: ‘if all that’s going to happen in these public hearings is a reliving of the transcripts that have already been released, all the headlines will be ‘nothing new,’ ‘no bombshell,’ or anything.’ So I think they really had to scurry around and sort of go through the rummage sale of ideas to fashion out this new ‘bombshell.’”
