George Washington University Law professor Jonathan Turley, the most credible and least partisan constitutional expert of the day, affirmed that impeaching a President on presumptions is not acceptable during the afternoon session of the Judiciary Committee’s first public hearing.

Specifically, Professor Turley said, “impeachments have to be based on proof not presumptions.”

Since only presumptions are included in the House Intel report, Judiciary should end this impeachment inquiry, immediately. By doing so, Congress can finally get back to focusing the real issues that Americans care about; for example, passing USMCA, fighting the opioid crisis, and securing our southern border.
