Constitutional lawyer and author of a new Wall St. Journal op-ed entitled “This Impeachment Subverts the Constitution” joined Stephen K. Bannon, Jason Miller, and Raheem Kassam for episode six of War Room Impeachment.
The trio of co-hosts discussed how the president’s allies finally got off the sidelines and started fighting back this week, as well as the possibility of former Assistant Secretary for Public Affairs joining the White House to fight back against the Democrat’s impeachment inquiry.
Phillip Reeker, Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs, is due to testify on Saturday, which Bannon, Miller, and Kassam also discussed.
The three were joined by Rivkin in the second segment of the show, who walked the audience through “the level of anti-Trump animosity” which he say “is so high it warps people’s minds”.
“This [Rivkin] is the legal argument we’ve been waiting for, we have our elevator pitch,” noted Miller.
”You can have differences of opinion on America first, you can have differences of opinion on foreign policy… This is about trying to take the powers from the Office of the President… we are hurdling into a Constitutional crisis,” said Bannon.
“This is not attacking Trump, this is utilizing Trump as a way to attack Constitution,” added Kassam.
