On Episode 31 of War Room: Impeachment, hosts Stephen K. Bannon, Jason Miller, and Raheem Kassam discuss a dramatic revelation in former US Ambassador to Ukraine Marie Yovanovitch’s public testimony: the investigation into Hunter Biden and Burisma was not “closed” as Joe Biden frequently promotes but rather placed “on pause.”

To Kassam, “this was the moment that really stood out today.” It was the “killer moment.”

He continues: “Elise Stefanik proceeded to walk people through what the Republicans had learned during the deposition, things that had come to light about whether or not the Hunter Biden, Burisma, prosecutor investigation that we’ve long not heard enough about was actually closed.”

Yovanovitch’s testimony today showed “The investigation wasn’t actually closed, which is Joe Biden’s defense against all of this. What happened with the investigation that was made clear today, to use Yovanovitch’s words, [it was placed] “on pause,” and she said there’s a difference between “closed” and “on pause”. They effectively took the Ukrainians out and they were doing their own investigation into this.”

Bannon believes this shows “Biden has been lying on the campaign trail. He has been spinning this, and [Stefanik] outed him today.”

Miller concurs: “The fact that the ambassador was so jammed up that [Stefanik] was prepped on this very issue as part of her nomination process shows that the previous administration was really concerned about Hunter Biden. Why was he getting between fifty and eighty thousand dollars a month for nothing?”
