Days after the Senate found President Trump not guilty on two articles of impeachment, former White House adviser Steve Bannon called for the Senate Judiciary Committee to crack down on those who pushed to have the commander in chief removed from office.

ā€œHe needs to clear house,ā€ Bannon told Fox News host Jesse Watters in an interview that aired Saturday evening. ā€œHe needs to get people that support his policies in there to execute this.ā€

Bannon, 66, said Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham, chairman of the judiciary panel, should subpoena House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff, former CIA Director John Brennan, and the whistleblower who raised concerns about Trump’s July 25 phone call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

ā€œWe’ve got to vet this,ā€ Bannon said. ā€œLet’s get it all out there. Let’s get the whistleblower, let’s get the second whistleblower, let’s get Brennan up there, let’s get Adam Schiff as a fact witness.ā€
