On Episode 22 of War Room: Impeachment, host Stephen K. Bannon questions “why have we not seen more changes to the Intel Committee?”

He continues, “We’ve got Rep. Jim Jordan. We have a bunch of people [on the committee] retiring that really don’t count anymore. Why have the Republicans and Rep. McCarthy not demanded that you have Rep. Lee Zeldin, Rep. Mark Meadows, Rep. Matt Gaetz, or Rep. Andy Biggs.”

These “killers” are important because they’re skilled at “weaponizing information, particularly on CNN and MSNBC where you’re going to have to make this case.”

Bannon notes the lack of urgency: “Why do you think is not happening when we’re two days before the hearings?”

Co-host Raheem Kassam adds, “Are we going to have to make Rep. Kevin McCarthy famous? Get this audience to actually call and ask why these changes aren’t being made?”

He continues, “Pretty good isn’t going to cut it at this point. You need excellence. Top, top people.”

Bannon concurs: “We need the starters. The killers.”

Co-host Jason Miller highlights Rep. Will Hurd and Rep. Mike Conaway: “Why do we have REP. Will Hurd, a retiring member and frequent critic of President Trump? Why is he still there? Why is retiring Rep. Mike Conaway [still there]?”
