Russ Vought, the former director of Office of Management and Budget under President Trump, tells the “War Room” posse why it is so important for Republicans to hold the Democrats accountable for their spending.
“Those clips that you showed are the swamp in freakout mode. They want to do everything they possibly can … to make it seem as though the sky is falling. The reality is that revenues are coming in even if the debt limit is not raised. So revenues are there to ensure the full faith and credit of the United States as it pertains to interest payments are covered. … For other things… they’ve got to be able to prioritize payments to ensure the full faith and credit from the standpoint of our nation’s debt is taken care of.”
