Epshteyn: Milley Attempted A Coup and Committed Treason

In reaction to the blockbuster revelation in Bob Woodward’s new book, “Peril,” that Gen. Mark Milley collaborated with the Chinese People’s Liberation Army to fend off an imaginary attack by Donald Trump, Boris Epshteyn minced no words:

“I lived through a coup when I was a kid in Moscow when tanks rolled into Moscow in 1991… Now that was not a democratic country. Here, we have a country that is a democracy that’s been functioning for over 200 years and you have a group of people who came together and said we don’t think the democracy is functioning, so we have to take control. … Gen. Milley circumvented the chain of command…. That to me is an attempted coup, and the outreach to China without letting the commander in chief know is treason. Simple as that.”
