Stephen K. Bannon excoriated the Vatican for its money laundering scandal, and hit the Pope for his direct involvement.
“We’re funneling hundreds of millions of pounds coming from working class Catholics, in Catholic churches in the U.S.,” Bannon said Friday.
“Understand it’s not going into Central Africa, or the Middle East to save the churches…or to support the underground Catholic church…it’s going to the West End of London in Chelsea to buy real estate with Russian oligarchs and Arab sheikhs.”
Liz Yore, founder of Yore Children, said the Vatican is setting it up for Gianluigi Torzi, the Italian broker on the Chelsea $350 million property deal, to be the “fall guy.”
“hey used Peter’s Pence, the charity of the pope…to buy this property,” she said.
