Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene challenged Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez to a live debate on the Green New Deal.

“The Green New Deal is being shoved down everyone’s throat and the American people deserve to understand it,” Rep. Greene told War Room, Tuesday. “She and I are on opposite sides of the spectrum. So many people say they would even pay for it.”

Rep. Greene offered to allow AOC and herself to each pick a moderator, and the debate could be “pay-per-view” style, and split the money at the end.

“The people deserve to hear the two ideas,” Greene said, of freedom versus communism

“AOC is virtually introducing something that will change our economics, change our country, and change the way we operate,” she said. “I think AOC owes that to everyone.”

Greene warned the audience not to underestimate AOC, because she is the Democrat leadership is “listening to her,” and implementing her Green New Deal in the so-called infrastructure plan.

“She’s very powerful,” Greene said. “She’s not stupid. I have a lot of respect for her, it’s not fair to say that about her.”

“It’s a debate that needs to happen,” said Stephen K. Bannon.
